    摘要: An adaptable system for defogging a mirror in a steamy bathroom having a tube assembly with a plurality of openings with an impeller and a plurality of heating elements for blowing hot air through the openings onto the fogged mirror. In one example embodiment, the tube assembly has louvers directing the hot air from the openings. The system has a plurality of mounting assemblies configured for all types of mirrors operative for coupling to the tube assembly, such as a portable mounting assembly with a rechargeable battery that selectively attaches on or adjacent to a mirror. The system has an articulated arm mounting assembly in one example embodiment. The system has a mounting assembly fixture in another example embodiment. A kit comprises the tube assembly and at least one mounting assembly.

    摘要: Vent terminal apparatus and methods are provided for covering vent pipes in an HVAC system, e.g., air intake and combustion gas exhaust pipes of a furnace or boiler. The vent terminal includes a body defining a shielded air inlet configured to fluidly communicate with an air intake pipe, and an exhaust opening configured to fluidly communicate with an exhaust pipe. The vent terminal also includes a nozzle configured to couple with the body and defining a flowpath therethrough. When the exhaust opening of the body is in fluid communication with the exhaust pipe and the nozzle is coupled with the body, the flowpath is in fluid communication with the exhaust pipe via the exhaust opening and the flowpath is oriented at an acute angle relative to the exhaust pipe.

    摘要: Provided is a fluid heating device that is small in size and capable of heating a large flow of gas or liquid at a low cost. A flow path in which no backwater is produced is provided by providing grooved flow paths of a fluid are provided over an outer side surface of a metallic circular cylinder such that a fluid passing through a narrowed one of the flow paths impinges perpendicularly against a wall of the next flow path. This allows instantaneous heat exchange within a small space, and makes manufacturing of such a structure simple.

    摘要: A portable air blowing appliance has a housing retaining a blower adapted when energized to create an airflow through and from the housing, and a heating element adapted when energized to impart heat to the airflow. A movable deflector selectively steers the airflow either though or not through the heating element. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the blower is, in combination, a motor-driven centrifugal blower rotatable about a blower axis to create the airflow, and a scroll surrounding the blower wheel and adapted to direct the airflow from the blower wheel forwardly from the housing. In this exemplary embodiment, the deflector is movable about a pivot axis perpendicular to the blower axis between a heating position wherein the airflow is steered through the heating element and a cooling position where the airflow is steered not through the heating element.

    摘要: A control unit for make-up air and combustion air is disclosed for use with a furnace in an air circulating system for a building. A baffle having a combustion air inlet and a make-up air inlet is provided with a weather protective hood and adapted to be mounted on the outside wall of a building. The combustion air inlet is connected through a conduit to a location adjacent the floor of the building on which the furnace is mounted. The baffle includes a restrictor plate including a pair of openings aligned with the combustion air and make-up air inlets, respectively, and a screen extending across the openings. The baffle includes a damper in the make-up air inlet and a damper in the combustion air inlet. The dampers are mounted on a common shaft so that they move concurrently in response to a pressure differential between the inside and outside.
