摘要: An apparatus for diagnosing a state of a battery according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a charging and discharging assembly for charging or discharging a battery module; a measurer for measuring a current of the battery module at every predetermined period during a cycle in which the battery module is charged or discharged; and a controller for receiving a measurement value for the current of the battery module from the measuring unit, estimating a state of charge (SOC) of the battery module during the cycle based on the received measurement value, calculating a change rate of the estimated SOC, and determining whether a defect occurs in the battery module based on a comparison result between the calculated change rate of the SOC and a preset reference change rate.

摘要: In a remaining capacity notification device for notifying a user of a device of a remaining capacity of a secondary battery mounted in the device, a reliability level determination unit determines a reliability level of a state of charge (SOC) indicating the remaining capacity of the secondary battery that the user is to be notified of, on the basis of the slope of a SOC-open circuit voltage (OCV) curve of the secondary battery that corresponds to the SOC. A notification control unit performs control to cause the user to be notified of the remaining capacity of the secondary battery in a form of notification based on the reliability level of the SOC that has been determined.

摘要: A battery measurement device that measures a state of a secondary battery includes: a signal control section that causes an alternating-current signal to be outputted from the secondary battery or inputs an alternating-current signal to the secondary battery; a current measurement section that measures the alternating-current signal; a response signal measurement section that measures a response signal of the secondary battery responsive to the alternating-current signal; and a calculation section that calculates information regarding a complex impedance of the secondary battery based on measurement results of the alternating-current signal measured by the current measurement section and the response signal measured by the response signal measurement section. The arithmetic section calculates the information regarding the complex impedance after waiting for the measurement result of the alternating-current signal to reach a steady state after start of the input/output of the alternating-current signal by the signal control section and outputs a calculation result.

摘要: Systems, methods and devices for constructing an electrochemical process manifold (EPM) for a battery cell during a formation process. The current through the cell is controllably adjusted to charge or discharge the cell. The temperature and/or pressure may be controllably adjusted along with the current. At each of a plurality of time steps as the current is controllably adjusted, the voltage across the cell is measured and integrated over time to obtain a voltage-hours value for each time step. A data point is stored in memory for each time step that includes the measured voltage, the voltage-hours value, and the current through the cell at the respective time step. The data points for each time step are mapped onto an EPM, and the EPM is stored in a non-transitory computer-readable memory medium.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a battery capacity active estimation method for an electric vehicle. The method is capable of determining the battery capacity based on estimating a State Of Charge (SOC) of the battery before and after a discharge operation but without having to wait until an establishment of sufficient thermal and electric equilibria in the battery. The estimation of SOC may even be made while the battery is being slowly charged. Depending on the equilibrium state of the battery, SOCs may be either directly obtained by measuring Open Circuit Voltage of the battery when the battery is in electric equilibrium or calculated and estimated when the battery is not in electric equilibrium.

The fuel gauge may perform two different methods for computing two different capacity values. The fuel gauge may utilize the capacity values from each method to determine the resistance of the battery as it ages and related battery characteristics, such as the state of health of the battery.

摘要: The present invention provides an improved method for detecting the state of charge (SOC) of a battery. A remaining capacity detection circuit detects the SOC of a rechargeable battery. A coulomb counter circuit integrates the charge and discharge currents IBAT of the battery to generate a coulomb count value CC. A voltage detection circuit detects a voltage VBAT of the battery. An SOC calculation unit calculates a raw SOC value SOC_cc based on the coulomb count value CC. A discharge correction unit corrects the raw SOC value SOC_cc based on a voltage drop of the battery during the discharging of the battery, and generates a discharge SOC value SOC_dis. A charge correction unit measures a minimum value SOC_dis_min reached by the discharge SOC value SOC_dis during the last discharge of the battery, and calculates a charge SOC value SOC_chg using the minimum value SOC_dis_min during the charging of the battery.
