    摘要: In apparatus for controlling a plasticizing process of a resin of an in-line screw-type injection molding machine, a position of the screw is continuously detected in accordance with the movement thereof and a control function is determined on the basis of one of various factors, such as resin heating energy, shearing energy, injection pressure and filling speed, which determine a temperature distribution of a resin to be injected. The operating condition, particularly the number of revolutions and the back pressure of the screw, is controlled on the basis of the control function and the screw position so as to uniformalize the temperature distribution of the resin.

    摘要: An apparatus for controlling the operation process of a physical system according to a predetermined operating cycle. The apparatus includes a digital register, a digital to analogue converter, and an integrator which produces a signal corresponding to the desired slope or change in said process. Another means is provided for generating a steady state signal indicating the end point of the change. A comparator is provided for comparing the integrated signal with the steady state signal for generating a compared signal for determining whether the steady state signal or the integrated signal will be coupled to the controller for controlling the operation thereof. The apparatus is also provided with a sign indicating means for generating a signal indicating the direction that the process is to be varied and means for causing the integrator to begin integrating at a value where it left off at the end of the previous cycle.

    摘要: A relay type feedback control method with sampling for controlling the wet processing of textile material, such as a dyeing process, comprises holding an output signal of an on-off control device by a zero-order holding device for a predetermined holding time and selectively changing the holding time at various sampling instants. The holding time is principally changed at each sampling instant in accordance with a preselected program so that input of the controlled process is capable of being adjusted to coincide with a predetermined trapezoidal program.

    摘要: In an electron beam machine for welding or cuting a workpiece, the current produced by the electron gun is regulated by a beam regulating system to maintain a programmed value. A feedback voltage proportional to beam current is compared with a commanded voltage proportional to desired beam current, any difference therebetween in the form of an error voltage being used to vary the bias voltage of the electron gun and modify the beam current. A novel saturable reactor circuit permits the bias voltage which is at a high potential to be varied by a DC current which varies about ground level. A novel latch and hold circuit permits the beam current regulator to be bypassed when the electron gun filament is ''''peaked''''. A novel current adder circuit permits the automatic programming of multi-level beam currents.

    摘要: A programming mechanism is disclosed for controlling the application of power to apparatus performing successive steps in a process. The mechanism includes an electronic timer for controlling the time period of each step. The timer includes an R-C timing circuit, the R-C constant of which may be adjusted to any suitable value for each different step of the process by connecting into the circuit a different R-C circuit element, such as a variable resistor for each step in the process that the circuit controls. For this purpose, a multisection, multiposition stepping switch is connected to the R-C timing circuit and a different variable resistor is connected to one or more of the terminals of the stepping switch so that as the switch is stepped to the next position a different R-C timing constant may be provided to control the time period of the electronic timer.
