摘要: An exemplary embodiment relates to a measuring device for measuring a current flowing in a first cable. The measuring device includes a measuring shunt in the form of a plate connected in series with the first cable and associated with a measuring electronic card connected to a data transmission cable. The measuring shunt further includes a measuring portion of resistive alloy coupled to connection portions on either side of the measuring portion. The connection portions are integrally formed with the measuring portion, and the first cable is secured to at least one of the connection portions of the measuring shunt.

摘要: The invention relates to an interrupter for an electrical wire 9, having a first terminal and a second terminal insulated electrically from the first terminal and also a contact 3, which takes the form of a separate component from the terminals and is provided to produce a conductive connection between the first and second terminals, the contact 3 being capable of being brought by a linear movement from a first position connecting the terminals into a second position in which the terminals are disconnected, an actuator being provided to move the contact and a lever 5 being provided, which acts on the contact 3 by means of a joint 14, 16, 17 and is provided to transmit force from the actuator to the contact 3.

摘要: A battery connector system includes a connector receptacle having a housing, the connector receptacle positioned on a battery pack having a positive battery lead and a negative battery lead, a first wire and a second wire coupled to the connector receptacle, the first wire and the second wire extending from the housing to connect the connector receptacle with the positive battery lead and the negative battery lead, and a connector plug positioned in an electronic device. The connector receptacle includes integral alignment features for mating with the connector plug upon insertion of the battery pack into the electronic device and may be attached to the battery pack by an adhesive bond. The connector plug is float connected to the electronic device.

摘要: A bracket and quick connect/disconnect battery cable connector are disclosed to facilitate connection of a battery cable to a vehicle batter. The bracket is adapted to be connected to a battery to be in electrical communication with a terminal of the battery. The bracket comprises a head having a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, and two or more spaced apart lock members extending from the bracket head first surface. The lock members are generally C-shaped forming channels defined by a curved side surface and an upper surface. The connector comprises a body having a surface, a stem extending from the body surface and two or more flanges extending radially from the stem. The flanges have an upper surface spaced from the connector body surface. One of the flange upper surface and the channel upper surface is sloped such that, as the connector is rotated relative to the channel, the locking member radially extending surface will be sandwiched between the flange upper surface and the connector body surface. In a preferred embodiment, the flange upper surface is sloped, such that the flange defines a wedge.

摘要: A current sensor includes a busbar, a case, a connector, and a bare chip having a current detection circuit. The busbar has a crimp terminal at one end, a ring terminal at the other end, and a shunt resistor welded between the crimp and ring terminals. The shunt resistor is encapsulated in the case, and the busbar has an electrode exposed to a sealed inner room of the case. The connector has a connector body unitary with the case and has a connector terminal that is exposed to the inner room at one end and exposed to an outside of the connector body at the other end. The bare chip is arranged in the inner room of the case and wire-bonded to each of the busbar and the connector terminal.

摘要: A mounting structure for a current sensor is provided. The current sensor is arranged between a negative terminal of a battery and a grounding unit. The mounting structure includes a battery grounding cable which has one end connected with the negative terminal of the battery, and a fixing unit which is electrically conductive to electrically connect other end of the battery grounding cable with the grounding unit. The fixing unit and the battery grounding cable constructs a current path which connects the negative terminal with the grounding unit. The current sensor is fixed by the fixing unit to the grounding unit, and disposed to detect current flowing through the fixing unit.

For this purpose, a contact-making element (5; 9) is provided on the pole sleeve (1) and is firmly connected to it, and on which a locking element (6; 10) can be placed with an interlock and/or a force fit in order to mechanically lock the electrical connection between the pole sleeve (1) and the electrical conductor (3).

摘要: A battery terminal connection assembly for connecting a terminal to a cable is disclosed. The assembly preferably includes a conductive cable fitting for connection to a cable, a conductive terminal connector having an arm adapted to engage the terminal, a cold-flow-resistant sleeve positioned in and bonded to the connector, the sleeve defining a bore for receiving the cable fitting, and a tensioning member adapted to connect to and urge the cable fitting into contact with the bore. When assembled, the tensioning member ensures electrical contact between the cable and the terminal. The invention also includes a battery terminal and cable connection arrangement utilizing such a connection assembly.

摘要: A terminal unit (TU) includes a battery terminal (2) mounted at the leading end of a wiring harness (4), and a holder (8) mounted on the wiring harness (4) at a position distanced from the battery terminal (2). A current sensor (12) is transported separately from the terminal unit (TU) to a connection site to a battery (B). The battery terminal (2) is introduced through the current sensor (12) and the current sensor (12) then is coupled with the holder (8) at the connection site. This operation is performed at a position distanced from the battery (B), and hence can be performed smoothly without being hindered.

摘要: A battery assembly for a vehicle includes a battery with a post extending therefrom. A terminal is connected to the post, and a blade extends from the terminal. A battery cable includes an attached connector. The connector is configured to receive the blade in a snap-in relationship. The blade includes a protrusion thereon, and the connector includes a spring member configured to provide sufficient normal force on the blade to force the blade against a wall of the connector to provide a reliable electrical contact. The spring member abuts the protrusion to secure the blade in the connector.
