    摘要: The microwave pulse generator of the invention for generating microwave pulses with a pulse duration in the nanosecond range has a pulse generator that generates pulses of constant width, and a microwave resonant circuit for generating microwave oscillations. Additionally provided is a pulse-shortening stage, to which the pulses from the pulse generator are fed and which generates output pulses in the nanosecond range. The output pulses are fed as supply voltage pulses to a microwave oscillator, at the output of which the microwave pulses can be picked off. A voltage-controlled varicap diode arrangement is provided to influence the pulse lengths and/or pulse amplitudes.

The indication signal represents the envelope, from the fluctuating current drawn by the RF transistor from the DC power supply during the time period when the RF signal is applied to the feeding input.

    摘要: In measuring and reproducing electric noise applied to an electronic component, the electric noise is envelope-detected and the envelope-detected noise is analog-digitally converted at high speed and stored. With this arrangement, electric noise, complicated and low in reproducibility, is accurately measured and stored. Further, a result obtained by performing a predetermined calculation on the stored value is digital-analog converted at high speed, reproducing the envelope-detected waveform as an analog signal, and a carrier signal having a center frequency of the electric noise is amplitude-modulated by the analog signal. As a consequence, imitation noise determined quantitatively can be accurately and repeatedly generated. Furthermore, when a repeated frequency of the electric noise is counted and stored, the basic frequency components of the electric noise can be measured without use of additional measuring instruments.

    摘要: A frequency stabilizing device for a FET high-frequency oscillator comprises means for coupling an automatic biasing circuit included in the source-ground connection of the oscillator to a drain voltage supply circuit included in the drain-ground connection of the oscillator to provide simultaneous and oppositely directed variations of the resistance of the automatic biasing circuit and of the value of the drain-ground voltage supplied by the drain voltage supply circuit. A variation of this device can serve as a modulation stage wherein the coupling means comprise a modulating circuit arranged to supply two branches in parallel, each branch comprising a series arrangement of a shaping circuit and an impedance-matching circuit and one of which constitutes the automatic biasing circuit and the other one the drain voltage supply circuit.

    摘要: A sampling circuit is provided which includes a fourterminal semiconductor device of the type having a low emitter doping concentration. The signal to be sampled is fed continuously through the semiconductor device to an output terminal. A gating pulse applied between the gate and the emitter of the semiconductor device raising the current amplification characteristic h.sub.FE from a very low level to a high level during the period that the gating pulse is on. This causes a highly amplified signal to appear at the output. When the gating pulse is removed the current amplification characteristic h.sub.FE returns to low level and the amplitude of the signal at the output becomes very low.

    摘要: An inexpensive, two-transistor modem wherein the first transistor is a high gain amplifier connected to receive the modulating signal, and the second transistor is connected as a shunt modulator driven by a carrier signal source. Individual resistors are connected with the collector and emitter electrodes of the first transistor and so proportioned that the input baseband (for modulation) and carrier (for demodulation) signals are cancelled at a common summing node. The circuit is useful for double sideband suppressed or transmitted carrier applications, especially where the desired sidebands are very near, or go down to, the baseband frequencies.
