Abstract:
In a communication system, an image forming apparatus sends an address of a receiving section to a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal receives a selection of an image data among plural thumbnails displayed on a display section, and wirelessly sends the selected image data to the image forming apparatus with the address. The image forming apparatus receives the selected image data sent with the address by the mobile terminal and prints an image based on the selected image data. A communication between the mobile terminal and the image forming apparatus is performed wirelessly with an IEEE 802.11 standard. The image forming apparatus continuously performs a second printing, when the receiving section receives a selected image data again in a condition that the communication with the mobile terminal is continuously established by the receiving section after the printing of the received image data is finished.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus includes plural communication interfaces, a determining unit, and a selecting unit. The determining unit determines whether or not communication with an information processing apparatus is executable by any of the plural communication interfaces. The selecting unit selects, based on a determination result generated by the determining unit, any one of the plural communication interfaces as a communication interface that communicates with the information processing apparatus.
Abstract:
A communication apparatus including: a communication portion which performs a data communication with a sub-communication apparatus; a transmission-data communicating portion which performs a transmission-data communication with a data processing apparatus; a transmission-data receiving section which receives transmission data from the data processing apparatus; a notifying section which transmits a notification to the sub-communication apparatus, the notification being based on that the transmission-data receiving section has received the transmission data; a relaying section which relays a phone conversation between an external communication apparatus and the sub-communication apparatus; and a transmitting section which transmits the transmission data received by the transmission-data receiving section, to an external communication apparatus as a call opposite party of the phone conversation which is being relayed by the relaying section where a transmission-data transmitting command has been received from the sub-communication apparatus performing the phone conversation being relayed by the relaying section.
Abstract:
A relay apparatus includes a processor and a network interface for performing communication with an image processing apparatus and a server apparatus through a network. The processor functions as: a server-request-information receiving unit for receiving server request information transmitted to the relay apparatus by the server apparatus; an establishment request information receiving unit for receiving establishment request information transmitted by the image processing apparatus for requesting establishment of a session between the relay apparatus and the image processing apparatus according to a session establishment type first protocol for enabling server-push for transmitting the server request information to the image processing apparatus; and a server-request-information transmitting unit for transmitting the server request information received by the server-request-information receiving unit to the image processing apparatus by using the session established between the relay apparatus and the image processing apparatus.
Abstract:
An image acquisition technique includes obtaining information regarding a client ticket within a document of a TWAIN-compliant application and determining if a status associated with the client ticket is complete or incomplete based at least in part on server ticket information associated with the client ticket. An image may then be received for the client ticket if the status associated with the client ticket is complete and the client ticket may be replaced in the document of the TWAIN-compliant application with the image.
Abstract:
An electronic device using a removable recording medium detects the operational mode supported by the recording medium when the attached recording medium has a communication function, and displays a menu with an item corresponding to the operational mode. When the item corresponding to the operational mode is selected from the menu, the electronic device communicates with an external device using the communication protocol corresponding to the selected item. When a recording medium with a communication function is attached, the electronic device enables commanding wireless communication with a target device with a simple operation and without knowing what communication protocol is used.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus configured to connected via a network to a one or a plurality of remote apparatuses each of which processes information. The information processing apparatus includes a detection unit for detecting that an imaging apparatus is connected thereto, a determination unit for determining, according to processing to be performed on media data photographed by the imaging apparatus, whether the processing is performed by the information processing apparatus, an execution instruction unit for issuing, when the determination unit determines that the processing is not performed by the information processing apparatus, an execution instruction to the remote apparatus capable of performing the processing to perform the processing on the media data, and a media data receiving unit for receiving from the remote apparatus to which the execution instruction is issued, the media data on which the processing is performed.
Abstract:
One aspect of the present invention can include an image forming apparatus including an external storage medium, a judging part configured to determine whether or not the storage medium contains non-printed file, an extracting part configured to extract the non-printed file as a print target from the storage medium if the judging part determines that the non-printed file is present, and a printing part configured to execute print processing on the non-printed file extracted by the extracting part.
Abstract:
This invention has as its object to allow an authentication process that avoids unnecessary information from being stored in a digital camera irrespective of whether or not a digital camera connected to the printer has a direct print function. To this end, in this invention, in an early stage of connection between a digital camera DSC and PD printer, the PD printer side requests an object which contains a keyword as authentication information of those which are stored and held by the DSC (S29). As a result, after it is determined the returned information contains authentication information, the printer notifies the DSC of its own authentication information (S33).
Abstract:
The present invention is intended to manage a plurality of network cameras simply. The network camera management system comprises: a server for managing a plurality of cameras and controlling recording and/or displaying of an image captured by a camera; and a controller for instructing a management state of a camera on the server. By the operation of the controller, an image to be displayed is dynamically selected from images captured by the plurality of cameras according to the mode instructed by the controller. Thus, even if there are a large number of cameras, it is possible to display in such a form that it is intuitively easy to understand which camera's image is being displayed.
