Abstract:
An image formation system includes: an encoded image generation device including a first processor that generates print data from manuscript data, sets security information for controlling a print mode of the print data, and generates an encoded image from the print data and the security information; and an image formation device including a second processor that inputs the encoded image, decodes the print data and the security data from the input encoded image, determines whether an output of the decoded print data is available in accordance with the decoded security information, and outputs the decoded print data when it is determined that the output of the print data is available.
Abstract:
A terminal device includes, as functions for transmitting a file with a digital signature via mail, a first communication unit for carrying out communication with a terminal device used by an authorizer when a distance from that terminal device is not greater than a prescribed distance, an obtaining unit for obtaining a value obtained from a file to be transmitted, which has been encrypted through encryption processing performed by making use of information exchanged with that terminal device, and a transmission instruction unit for outputting an instruction for mail transmission of the file and the obtained encrypted value.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a protection system for printed documents using steganographic and computer vision, materialized by the use of portable devices, where ETCODE encoded images are generated for this purpose. This method was created in order to ensure the document's authenticity, integrity of information, store information about authorship and copyright protection of printed documents. The protection method described in this patent is to generate an encoded image ETCODE using steganographic techniques, to be printed with the document, using conventional printers, and also that the decoding is performed by a digital camera portable device, obtaining therefore the information hidden in ETCODE, and then confronted with the information about the document in its digital version present in a database, thus fulfilling the proposal document protection.
Abstract:
A method for secure transmission using a fax server, including transmitting a document to be faxed, by a sender to a server, in the form of a digital file in a non-fax format, as well as information relative to the identity of the recipient; calculating a Tiff format file from the digital file on the one hand, the creation time and date of the file and an informative file on the other hand; calculating a signature from said Tiff document and entering the result of this calculation in an additional file; recording the files in a secured space accessible by the sender and the recipient; modifying the Tiff file to be transmitted to insert the signature and information allowing the recipient to access the recorded files; transmitting the file by the server to the telephone address of the recipient, according to a fax standard, and issuing a transmission report by the server in the form of an electronic message in a non-fax format.
Abstract:
An image sensing apparatus includes a hash calculation unit which calculates a digest value from group image data including two or more image data; and an alteration detecting information generating unit which generates alteration detecting information from the digest value.
Abstract:
Different aspects of the disclosure relate to either transmitting at least one portion of at least one image representation from, or receiving at least one portion of the at least one image representation at, a shared image device in a manner at least partially relying on a positioning of the shared image device within a sharing region
Abstract:
A method for transmitting a plurality of pieces of image data is provided. The method includes causing an image forming apparatus (1) to perform a process of obtaining a private key (#43), a process of generating individual electronic signatures for the plurality of pieces of image data by using the private key thus obtained (#38 and #45), and a process of adding the individual electronic signatures to the plurality of pieces of image data and transmitting the plurality of pieces of image data (#49).
Abstract:
Insertion of a watermark corresponding to the content of a file at the time of the printing of the file is made possible. Importance and/or confidentiality is defined per keyword in advance, and the watermark to be inserted is defined based thereon. At the time of the printing of the file, a keyword search within the file is performed, and the watermark to be inserted is automatically selected based on the search result (see FIG. 5).
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus inputs image data including a first pixel group, a second pixel group generated by interpolating the first pixel group and verification data of the first pixel group, verifies whether the first pixel group has been altered using the first pixel group and the verification data, verifies whether the second pixel group has been altered by determining whether the second pixel group and the first pixel group are in a predetermined relationship, and determines whether the image data has been altered based on results of the verification as to whether the first pixel group has been altered and the verification as to whether the second pixel group has been altered.
Abstract:
According to the present invention, authenticities of paper fingerprint information and of document information are collectively determined through formation of an original that is given an encoded image in which both paper fingerprint information and document information are encoded. By collectively guaranteeing identities of the paper form and of the document, it becomes possible to realize the more reliable authenticity guarantee.
