摘要： An electronic baggage tracking device replaces the tracking sticker presently applied to baggage. The device has a display which at least selectively displays destination indicia such as a barcode identifying a particular destination airport location. The device also has the ability to store traveler identification information, which is preferably at least partially encrypted, as well as travel information which may not normally be provided with baggage indicia, such as departing and arrival times. The device is preferably connected to baggage, if not integrally, then with a housing which connects to handles such as with a top having depending sides which cooperate with a displaceable bottom. Once installed, the device preferably has a locking configuration thereby preventing inadvertent or undesired removal of the device.

摘要： A carrying case includes a top case shell hinged to a bottom case shell which may be maintained in a closed position by a double throw, triple action latch mechanism comprising a latch body pivotally mounted to the bottom case shell, a latch locking element pivotally mounted to the latch body and a latch release coupled to the latch body. With the case in the closed position, the latch locking element engages a seat formed in the top case shell and clamps the two shells together. After moving the latch release to a release position, the latch body may be pivoted relative to the bottom case shell to permit disengagement of the latch locking mechanism from the top shell allowing the case to be opened.

摘要： A suitcase lock that can be opened either by setting a combination or by a key, in which dials of a suitcase lock are disposed with sleeves, and characterized in that a key tumbler is additionally fitted to the suitcase lock, and tongues located at a lower portion of a swing plate clamp connect to a slider. A groove at one end of the slider enables a push rod of the key tumbler to be clamped therein, and sloping grooves defined on another end enable the tongues of the swing plate to displace therein. In general, dials are used to control cuttings or circular arcs on the sleeves to operate the swing plate and hooking to a locked object and realize opening and closing of the lock. However, when in a locked state, without moving the dials, a key can be used to directly activate the key tumbler to push the slider, and thereby causes the swing plate to tilt in an opposite direction and the stopper at one end of swing plate can release the locked object from hooking position, thus opening the lock or suitcase.

摘要： A buckle comprises a female fastener, a male fastener, a movable member, a key lock and a combination lock. The female fastener has a mounting opening, an insertion opening and two side holes defined respectively on different sides of the female fastener. The male fastener is provided for inserting into the female fastener and has two elastic pillars. Each one of the two elastic pillars has an outward projection for inserting into corresponding one of the two side holes. The movable member is installed in the mounting opening and movable between a first position and a second position. Additionally, the key lock is installed on the female fastener for controlling whether the movable member can be shifted from the first position to the second position, and the combination lock is installed on the movable member. When the movable member is in the first position, the male fastener can be locked or unlocked via the combination lock, and when the movable member is in the second position, the combination lock departs from the male fastener.

摘要： A woven strap lock structure including a male fastener and a female fastener. One end of the male fastener has an insertion tongue formed with a latch hook edge. The female fastener is composed of a seat body and a teeterboard type latch plate pivotally connected with the seat body. A key-unlocked unit is disposed in a non-insertion end of the seat body for controlling a push button. The other end of the seat body is formed with an insertion opening corresponding to the insertion tongue. The seat body is formed with an operation room communicating with the insertion opening, in which the latch plate is mounted. A numeral unlocking unit is disposed on the latch plate. One end of the latch plate is formed with an engaging edge corresponding to the latch hook edge of the insertion tongue for latching with the latch hook edge. The other end of the latch plate is a press end which can be pressed into the seat body to make the end of the latch plate with the engaging edge turned upward. The push button is disposed at the press end and controlled by the numeral unlocking unit. In a natural state, one end of the push button is resiliently engaged on a support section of the support member. When the numeral unlocking unit is unlocked or the key-unlocked unit is operated by a key, the support section releases the push button, permitting the latch plate to be pressed and unlatched.

摘要： A rotating modular arm with two arm segments is used in a cabinet locking system. The two arm segments are urged apart by a spring. Each arm segment is connected to a lock bar. When the modular arm is rotated, the arm segments displace the lock bars to lock or unlock the drawers of the cabinet. One of the arm segments defines an elongated asymmetrical slot with two slot portions. The first slot portion is elongated and has a width that is less than the diameter of the second slot portion. A keyed lock housing includes a rotating lock core attached to a Z-shaped crank. A retainer is securely attached to the crank. The retainer has a diameter that is less than the diameter of the second slot portion, but the retainer diameter is greater than the width of the first slot portion. During installation, the retainer is engaged with the modular arm by first inserting the crank through the second slot portion. The crank is then displaced to engage the crank with the first slot portion so that rotation of the lock core will turn the crank and rotate the modular arm to displace the lock bars. A clip is not required to secure the crank to the modular arm. The two arm segments are connected with a releasable detent. A spring mounted on the exterior of one of the arm segments is used to urge the arms apart.
