    摘要: A mining machine applicable to fluidized mining and a mining method therefor are provided herein. A microwave transmitting mechanism, a liquid jet drill rod and a cutter-head are arranged at the head of a first excavation device of the mining machine. The ore body in front is first processed by the microwave transmitting mechanism and the liquid jet drill rod to reduce the strength of the ore body, which facilitates subsequent mining of the ore body, lowers the hardness requirements of the cutter-head, and reduces the wearing of the cutter-head. With this mining machine mining the ore body, the mined ores can be directly converted, under the ground, into resources in the easily transportable form, without transporting the ore to the surface for conversion, which saves the cost of transporting the ore to the surface.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for horizontal channeling into a mountain of granite automatically have been developed in which a water jet nozzle contained in a rigid lance assembly advances in and out of the mountain to the depth of the lance in a horizontal plane along a line of cut predetermined by the setup of the apparatus and the original drilled hole. The jet oscillates back and forth in a transverse fashion, cleaving the crystal formation of the granite through the application of high pressure water pulsing at the appropriate angle of penetration to achieve the correct spalling of the granite surface in slightly upward direction such that the channel remains free of chips and grit for easy movement of the feed system. The machine advances incrementally just prior to the lance entering the channel, maintaining standoff distances to properly erode channel corners. When the desired length of horizontal cut is reached, the lance is rotated upward ninety degrees, proceeding in and out in an upward motion until the desired height of block is reached. Four sides of the block are relieved in this manner, completing a square pattern which can easily be split out of the mountain. The angle of penetration, speed of oscillation and travel are varied to achieve a maximum efficiency depending on the type of granite that is being cut.

    摘要: A system for removing material with a high velocity jet of working fluid comprises an ultra-high pressure pump having an odd numbered plurality of composite fluid cylinders disposed radially outwardly of an axis of rotation of an eccentric crank. Each composite cylinder includes an inner low pressure cylinder and an outer high pressure cylinder coaxially aligned therewith and the longitudinal axes of the composite cylinders are spaced equilaterally around the crankshaft axis of rotation in a common radial plane. A low pressure piston is mounted in each low pressure cylinder for reciprocation between inner and outer ends and each low pressure piston is interconnected with the crankshaft eccentric to reciprocate on sequential pressure and exhaust strokes during each revolution of the crankshaft. Each high pressure cylinder includes a high pressure piston interconnected with a respective low pressure piston and adapted to reciprocate therewith. A high pressure valve system is provided for each cylinder including an inlet check valve for introducing working fluid into the high pressure cylinder upon successive exhaust strokes thereof. The valve system further includes an outlet check valve for each high pressure cylinder for expelling working fluid under ultra-high pressure as the high pressure piston moves on a pressure stroke.

    摘要: An end deflector for an abrasive water jet slot cutter is provided. The end deflector includes two wear resistant plates which direct portions of the water jet upwardly and downwardly. Preferably, the abrasive water jet slot cutter includes a source of high pressure water and a high pressure water outlet from which a stream of water is expelled. A venturi device is provided adjacent the water outlet for creating a vacuum. A feed device feeds an abrasive particular material to the venturi device so that the abrasive material is entrained in the stream of water. Thereafter, the stream of water is collimated in a tube which produces a cylindrical water jet which is then deflected before it impinges on the rock to mine the rock. The abrasive material is preferably sand and the tube including the deflector is easily replaceable.

The invention may be applied to enhance cavitation erosion in a cavitating liquid jet, or to modulate the velocity of a liquid jet exiting in a gas, causing it to form into discrete slugs, thereby producing an intermittent percussive effect.

    摘要: A cutter drum for longwall mining machines and the like of the type comprising a rotatable member having cutting bits disposed on its outer periphery and arranged to rotate about an axis extending parallel to a mine floor, the drum being movable along a longitudinal face to produce a cut extending back into the face as the drum rotates and advances. Nozzles are carried on the end of the drum at the back of the cut for spraying high-pressure liquid into the material being mined to loosen and dislodge the same. This has the advantage of eliminating cutter picks at the back of the cut and materially reduces the generation of fines and dust in this area.
