摘要： A radial piston machine has a cylindrical housing which encloses a rotary shaft formed with an eccentric. A plurality of stationary piston rods is connected to the inner wall of the housing and radially directed toward the shaft. The free ends of piston rods are provided with ball-and-socket joints permitting universal rotary movement of the pistons. Each piston slidably engages the inner wall of an assigned cylinder which at its bottom wall slidably engages the eccentric. In a modification, the spherical surface of the stationary ball joint directly engages the inner wall of the cylinder.

摘要： Servoactuator includes a pair of double-acting linear actuators providing for 360.degree. controlled rotation of an output shaft. The rotary motion of the ouput shaft is employed to sequence high pressure fluid flow and return for the same to the respective ends of the respective actuators so that both actuators continuously develop output force except for end stroke points. Shimmy damping may also be obtained by a bypass-damping valve which comprises a shuttle movable to a first position by high pressure fluid for controlled operation of the servoactuator and to a second position by removal of the high pressure fluid to direct fluid flow between the respective actuators through a damping orifice.

摘要： This engine is operated by compressed gas and comprises two cylinders with pistons therein, on piston rods that are pivoted to cranks fixed to a control shaft. This shaft carries a gear meshing with direction reversible gearing. The shaft also carries cams for operating valves that connect opposite ends of the cylinders to compressed gas supply and to vent. Means is provided to block off the compressed gas supply and vent to both ends of each cylinder and to interconnect both ends of each cylinder, to permit one cylinder to be under power while the piston in the other cylinder idles and is dragged by the piston in the powered cylinder. Both cylinders are never devoid of power at the same time.

摘要： A multi-cylinder internal combustion engine is disclosed including a crank shaft housing and a crank shaft connected to a plurality of pistons which reciprocate within the cylinders. The cylinder housing is vertically mounted to the crank shaft housing. A plurality of concentric sleeves are arranged within the cylinder housing and enclose a plurality of pistons and cylinders arranged in tandem. The concentric sleeves are connected to a selected number of cylinders and to the crank shaft for rotating the crank shaft responsive to reciprocal movement of the pistons and cylinders.

摘要： A coupling for use in a vehicle having an extensible and retractable ram reacting between the vehicle frame and a rockable dump body for raising and lowering the latter comprises a pair of parallel links straddling the ram and being pivoted at corresponding ends to the body and at their opposite ends to the ram. The pivotal connection of the links to the body preferably is of the ball joint type to enable substantially universal movement of the links relative to the ram. The coupling enables limited relative movement between the body and the vehicle frame without necessitating extension and retraction of the ram.

摘要： A trim-tilt device for marine propulsion devices wherein a cylinder and a piston rod slidably fitted in the cylinder are provided to be connected respectively with a propulsion device which in turn is connected to a hull so as to be rotatable in a vertical plane, and with the hull. A tilt piston is fitted to the tip of the piston rod and a free piston is arranged on the bottom side of the cylinder as opposed to the tilt piston and a trim piston is fitted to the tip of a pipe slidably fitted to the above mentioned piston rod. The trim piston is arranged on the opposite side of the tilt piston as opposed to the free piston and is slidably fitted in the above mentioned cylinder. Oil inlet and outlet ports are provided at both ends of the cylinder Stoppers and check valves are provided for controlling the oil pressure within the piston and cylinder arrangement. The trim-tilt device permits a trimming and tilting operation with a single cylinder.
