    摘要: A rotating liner driving mechanism for converting existing engines castings to a rotating liner configuration (RLE) with minor changes to the engine or casting. A pulley is connected to the main accessory belt in the front of the engine and drives a shaft parallel to the crankshaft but external to the engine. Via a 90 degree gearbox, the driving rotation is turned about normal to the crankshaft and block deck face. This shaft drives a driving gear through a gear cover, which then drives one of the liners. Gears in the liner flanges propagate the rotation to all liners. An inline engine needs only one set of pulleys and driving mechanisms, but a V-engine may require two, one for each bank of cylinders. The driving pulley can have mechanisms included so that the gear ratio between crankshaft and rotating liners can be varied during engine operation.

    摘要: A hydraulic machine includes oscillating radial cylinders close to an external shell of a crown or star of cylinder-piston groups. The pistons of the groups are made sliding on a crank shaft with throw or on interposed concentric elements, which create an alternative movement in the oscillating radial cylinders. The oscillating cylinders are placed in contact with a spherical oscillation surface made on a body or shell of the hydraulic machine. A passage of the hydraulic liquid to and from the oscillating radial cylinder, to create feeding and discharge of the cylinder, is formed through at least a flat lateral external surface on the side of the oscillating cylinder, parallel to an oscillation plane of the cylinders, to and from a feeding channel on a lateral body or cover of the hydraulic machine. A seal ring, fitted at least with a contact surface that is resistant to abrasion on the wall of the lateral flat sliding surface, is interposed between the flat lateral surface in contact for passage of the liquid under pressure, and a thrust member is formed on the oscillating cylinders against the spherical oscillation surface outside of the cylinders themselves.

The outer cylinder chamber is provided therein with an outer piston (32) having a front operation member (33) which is moved close to or away from the front stationary table and a rear operation member (34) which is moved close to or away from the rear stationary table. The outer cylinder chamber is also provided with an outer rear inlet (35) which is connected to the inner rear outlet and an outer front inlet (36) which is connected to the inner front outlet, for the working fluid to move the outer piston.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a compress and position apparatus with positioning, orientating functions and providing more uniform pressing force compliantly. The compress and position apparatus comprises a guiding column, a base, a housing, a seat, a annular portion and a pressing plate. The base has a cylinder, a plurality of locating pins and a convex portion. The annular portion has a through hole and a plurality of locating holes. The guiding column and the cylinder are disposed in the housing provided with an opening for the guiding column passing therethrough. The housing is mounted on the base and passed through a through hole of the annular portion and disposed in a cavity of the seat. A plane on the housing abuts a plane on the cavity to prevent the rotation of the housing. The guiding column is combined with the seat. The locating pin is inserted into the locating hole. The pressing plate engages the annular portion. Thus the guiding column is moved up and down by the gas supply device. The convex portion biases the pressing plate to exert force on the substrate.

The engine also including a power takeoff shaft (12) coupled to an end of the cylinder pin assembly for transmitting energy generated by operation of the engine.

    摘要: Piston rods (60, 62) of three linear hydraulic motors (36, 38, 40) are connected at their outer ends (64, 68) to two spaced apart transverse frame members (10, 12). A cylinder housing (72) is driven back and forth along each pair of piston rods (60, 62). Three transverse drive beams (48, 50, 52) are provided. Each drive beam (48, 50, 52) is directly connected to an associated one of the cylinder housings (72). Three sets of floor slat members (1, 2, 3) are provided. Each set (1, 2, 3) is connected to an associated one of the transverse drive beams (48, 50, 52). The linear hydraulic motors (36, 38, 40) are operated for moving the floor slat members (1, 2, 3) in one direction, for advancing a load, and for retracting them in the opposite direction. Each cylinder housing (72) has four fluid chambers (82, 84, 86, 88). The first and third chambers (82, 86) are interconnected and the second and fourth chambers (84, 88) are interconnected. This arrangement provides adequate force producing area with a relatively small diameter cylinder housing (72). Fluid passageways (110, 112) are formed in the piston rods ( b 60, 62). Transfer valves (138, 140) and U-shaped tubes (134, 136, 126, 128) are clamped onto the outer end portions of the piston rods (60, 62) by means of a pair of clamp plates (190, 192, 214, 224) and interconnecting nut and bolt assemblies (194, 226).
