    摘要: An internal combustion engine comprises an engine body, a filter provided in an exhaust passage of the engine body and trapping particulate matter in the exhaust, and a temperature sensor detecting a temperature of gas flowing cut from the filter. A control device controlling this internal combustion engine comprises a fuel cut control pan configured to perform fuel cut control stopping a supply of fuel to a combustion chamber of the engine body and a forced ending part configured to forcibly make the fuel cut control end even if a condition for performance of fuel cut control had stood based on a trend in change of temperature of the gas temperature detected by the temperature sensor.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine for a motor vehicle includes an exhaust system through which exhaust gas can flow and in which a first exhaust gas aftertreatment element is disposed. An exhaust gas turbocharger has a turbine and the turbine has a turbine wheel which is disposed upstream of the first exhaust gas aftertreatment element. A bypass line bypasses the turbine wheel and via the bypass line at least part of the exhaust gas can bypass the turbine wheel. The bypass line also bypasses the first exhaust gas aftertreatment element. The bypass line is fluidically connected to the exhaust system at a branch point disposed upstream of the turbine wheel and upstream of the first exhaust gas aftertreatment element. The bypass line is fluidically connected to the exhaust system at a discharge point disposed downstream of the turbine wheel and downstream of the first exhaust gas aftertreatment element.

    摘要: A detection device detecting collapse of PM collected in a filter provided in an exhaust system flow path of an internal combustion engine includes: a differential pressure sensor configured to acquire a differential pressure between an exhaust inlet side and an exhaust outlet side of the filter; a water generation determination unit configured to determine whether water is generated in the exhaust system flow path; and a PM collapse determination unit configured to determine that at least a part of the PM collected in the filter has collapsed when a PM accumulation amount estimated based on the acquired differential pressure has increased by a predetermined amount or more within a predetermined period in a state where the PM accumulation amount estimated based on the acquired differential pressure is equal to or larger than a predetermined first threshold and the water generation determination unit has determined that water is generated.
