    摘要: A gear transmission for keeping a load in balance at both ends of a crank shaft in an all-terrain saddle type vehicle provided with a transmitting unit capable of transmitting power from the crank shaft to the gear transmission and a generator connected to the crank shaft. A torque converter is provided with a lock-up clutch mounted on the crank case side of the torque converter and capable of directly connecting a pump to a turbine. A driving gear fixed to the turbine and capable of transmitting the output of the torque converter to the gear transmission is mounted on one end side of a crank shaft outside the crank case such that the lock-up clutch is sandwiched between the torque converter and the driving gear. A generator is mounted on the other end side of the crank shaft outside the crank case.

    摘要: The present invention provides a vehicle traveling control apparatus for a vehicle with an HST and a mechanical transmission, which are connected in tandem to each other and interposed in a traveling power transmission path between a driving power source and driving wheels. The vehicle traveling control apparatus includes a speed-change control mechanism which in turn includes a signal detection part and a control part for controlling the changing of the output speed of the HST and the shifting operation of the mechanical transmission. The signal detection part includes a load-torque detection means. The control part is designed to control the mechanical transmission and the HST based upon the detected results by the load torque detection means so that where the vehicle lies in a high load torque state, the control part downshifts the mechanical transmission to a lower speed stage, while increasing the output speed of the HST.

    摘要: A transmission assembly having a variable displacement hydraulic device which controls a ratio of an input speed to an output speed of the hydrostatic transmission is disclosed. The transmission assembly further includes a torque reversing mechanical transmission coupled to the hydrostatic transmission and having a first range and a second range. The transmission assembly further includes an output shaft driven by one or more of the hydrostatic transmission and the mechanical transmission which causes a work machine to move at a travel speed and a controller. The controller is operable to determine a transmission load and an equal displacement travel speed ratio based on the transmission load. A shift from the first gear range to the second gear range is based on the equal displacement travel speed ratio. A method of operating a transmission assembly is also disclosed.

    摘要: In a transmitting system for a small-sized vehicle in which a crankshaft and an input shaft of a transmission are connected to each other through a fluid transmitting device such as a torque converter. A primary reducing device, the fluid transmitting device and a shifting clutch are disposed on the crankshaft sequentially from one side of a crankcase supporting the crankshaft with a bearing interposed therebetween toward the outside, and the axial movements of the input member, the pump impeller and the turbine impeller on the crankshaft are restrained by the bearing and a nut threadedly fitted at a tip end of the crankshaft. Thus, a creep phenomenon of the fluid transmitting device can be eliminated by controlling the shifting clutch, and the shifting operation of the transmission can be conducted lightly. Moreover, the transmitting system is of a simple construction and improved in assemblability.

The vehicle includes a power train including a primary power transmission for normal traveling, which is connected to a prime mover for normal traveling, for transmitting a rotational torque of the traveling prime mover to driving wheels, through a rotary power transmission shaft, a drive shaft speed reducer and drive shaft, an external power takeoff mechanism incorporated in the primary power transmission, a hydraulic pressure generator connected to an external power takeoff shaft of the external power takeoff mechanism, and a hydraulically controlled power transmission for traveling at inching speed, which includes a hydraulic motor connected to the hydraulic pressure generator. When the primary power transmission for normal traveling is shifted out of the neutral range position, the external power takeoff mechanism and the hydraulically controlled power transmission for traveling at inching speed being made inoperative instantly in response to an electrical signal from a neutral position detector incorporated in said primary power transmission for normal traveling.
