摘要: A wireless telecommunications system provides location-specific call forwarding. The system can receive a request to connect a voice call to the wireless device, which can invoke a call forwarding procedure depending on a status of a subscriber associated with the wireless device. When the system determines that a current location of the wireless device is different from a default location, location-specific call forwarding information is used to forward the voice call to a terminating node associated with the location-specific forwarding information rather than a default terminating node for the default location. The terminating node can include a voicemail server that plays back a location-specific voicemail greeting to the caller.

摘要: A system described herein may provide a technique for the seamless failover of devices in a network, such as a wireless telecommunications network. For example, embodiments may identify a particular device, such as a Call Session Control Function (“CSCF”), that has failed or that does not meet particular performance metrics. An Internet Protocol (“IP”) address of the failed device may be assigned to a functioning device of the same type (e.g., another CSCF). The functioning device may be instructed, in accordance with some embodiments, to output routes between itself and other devices or IP addresses, based on which traffic originally intended for the failed device may be routed to the functioning device.

摘要: A terminal device 1 collects RTP information related to a call and transmits the RTP information to a CSCF 3. The CSCF 3 collects, from a plurality of SIP packets related to the call, the address of an edge router 2 that has handled the plurality of SIP packets, the address of an SBC 4 that has handled the plurality of SIP packets, and the domain name of an operator's network 5 that has handled the plurality of SIP packets, and stores in a call information list, for each call, the collected information in association with the RTP information transmitted from the terminal device 1. Then, the CSCF 3 identifies a plurality of problem-occurring calls using the RTP information, and determines a faulty portion based on a bias in the quantitative trend of the count of each of the edge router 2 addresses, the count of each of the SBC 4 addresses, and the count of each of the operator's network 5 domains.

摘要: A disclosed method includes receiving emergency data related to emergency calls emanating from mobile devices, independently from emergency call routing to an emergency network; determining an emergency network that should receive the emergency data; providing the emergency data to the emergency network; and providing a map view to the emergency network entity of the emergency network using the emergency data and displaying location indicators corresponding to locations of mobile devices identified by the emergency data. Another disclosed method includes receiving emergency data related to emergency calls emanating from mobile devices, independently from emergency call routing to an emergency network; detecting emergency call data received at the emergency network; and providing a map view to an emergency network entity of the emergency network using the emergency data, where the map view displays location indicators corresponding to locations of mobile devices identified by the emergency call data received at the emergency network.

摘要: A serverless Page Party (SPP) station is provided for page announcing and party line conferencing that is configured to implement mutual provisioning to allow all SPP stations within a system to mutually maintain their configurations in runtime, and multiple master station negotiation and master failover. Plural SPP stations are connected with Ethernet cable or WIFi to a network and therefore without need for expensive and cumbersome cabling and daisy-chain configuration among stations. SPP stations route packets between each other via multicast technology and without need for a IP-PBX or other server (e.g., a SIP server) for controlling inter-station connections. In Mutual Provisioning Mode, SPP stations operate using a system configuration obtained from other SPP stations already on the network using a command channel. System configuration is maintained by a SPP station designated as a master station. Plural SPP stations can negotiate among themselves to designate a new master station.

摘要: Maintaining a registered state via server-managed notifications is described herein. In an example, server(s) can receive an indication from an application associated with a device, the indication can identify a response to a registration request sent by the application for registration with a service provider. Based at least partly on the indication, the server(s) can start a first timer associated with a first predetermined time interval after which the server(s) are to send a first notification to the application. The server(s) can determine, based at least in part on the first timer, a lapse of the first predetermined time interval and can send the first notification to the application. The first notification can cause the application to transition from an inactive state to an active state, and send a new registration request to register with the service provider to maintain a registered state.
