Abstract: A computer-implemented audio/video visitation system for a correctional facility includes an administrator computer device, a visitation services computer system, and a plurality of tablet computer devices accessible by incarcerated inmates inside the correction facility. The administrator computer device is configured, via an administrator interface, to review and edit registered incarcerated inmate information, review and edit registered remote non-incarcerated visitor information, and suspend or allow access to the visitation computer services system to establish video visitation sessions via one of the plurality of tablet computer devices for selected ones of the registered incarcerated inmates.

Abstract: Unsolicited electronic communications such as robocalls and person-initiated solicitation calls are reduced by imposing tolls for completion of the connections to the called parties, and refunding the tolls to the entities indicated by the electronic communications as the calling parties. In this way, a dishonest originator of a spoofed call bears the cost of the toll, and the toll is not refunded to the dishonest originator. On the other hand, the toll collected from an honest originator of a non-spoofed call is refunded to the honest originator, making the toll transparent to the honest originator and avoiding annoyance of the honest caller caused by the toll. Unsolicited calls may be subjected to filtering, particularly filtering based on the indications of the origins of the calls.

Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatus are provided for a Dynamic Group Session Data Access Protocol. The system may monitor participant input in a group interactive session. The system may be trained to monitor and understand the group environment and predict intent of the participant discussion and may predict relevant data. The system may be used by a single participant or by multiple participants. The system may determine the access level of the participants. The system may determine the access level of the data. The system may compare the access level of the participants with the access level of the data. The system may dynamically mask the data if the access level of the participants does not match the access level of the data. The system may create customized views of the data for each participant based on the participant's access level and the access level of the data.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the invention are detection systems and methods for detecting call provenance based on call audio. An exemplary embodiment of the detection system can comprise a characterization unit, a labeling unit, and an identification unit. The characterization unit can extract various characteristics of networks through which a call traversed, based on call audio. The labeling unit can be trained on prior call data and can identify one or more codecs used to encode the call, based on the call audio. The identification unit can utilize the characteristics of traversed networks and the identified codecs, and based on this information, the identification unit can provide a provenance fingerprint for the call. Based on the call provenance fingerprint, the detection system can identify, verify, or provide forensic information about a call audio source.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to generate regex and detect data similarity are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a token graph generator to generate a token graph including nodes based on a cluster of strings corresponding to a group of messages that are known to be spam; a pivot engine to identify pivot nodes in the cluster of strings; a pivot applicator to tag corresponding ones of the nodes of the token graph as the pivot nodes; and a regex converter to generate the anti-spam signature based on: (a) the tagged nodes and (b) at least one of the node of the token graph that is not tagged as a pivot node.

The tablet devices and visitation services system are configured to: accept login credentials to uniquely identify one pre-registered authorized incarcerated inmates; establish an interconnection between a visitor computer device and the tablet computer devices to commence video visitation sessions without requiring endpoint control to schedule or initiate the visitation session by administrative personnel of the correctional facility; and apply a video visitation session charge.

Abstract: In a method for managing access by a user device to multimedia services delivered by a communication system, the user device accesses the multimedia services through a Radio Access Technology (RAT). An information element sent to the user device from the communication system includes restriction information that indicates the types of RAT that the user device may use to access the multimedia services. The restriction information also includes the types of RAT that the user device cannot use to access the multimedia services. The information element also includes additional restriction information indicating the multimedia services that can be accessed by the user device, and the multimedia services that cannot be accessed by the user device. The additional restriction information is based on subscription information for the user device.
