In one embodiment, the wake diversion system includes a wake diverter that is comprised of a body, a panel, and a plurality of boat attachment mechanisms. The wake diverter is removably attachable to the side of the hull of a watercraft such that it obstructs the natural flow of water around the hull of the watercraft on side of the watercraft to which it is attached.

    摘要: Ships for navigating in icy waters are provided. Such ships include in the stern area a wedge which extends from bottom of the ship downwards transversely to the ship. The wedge may have a first surface inclined towards the bow and a second surface inclined towards stern with respect to a horizontal plane. These two surfaces can be connected to each other forming a lower edge of wedge. The wedge is at least partially arranged below waterline of the ship. The first inclined surface is dimensioned in such a way that in the case of forward motion, the first surface contacting the flow of water, generates a lift force in order to modify the longitudinal trim of the ship acting as a trim wedge. The second inclined surface also is shaped advantageously in the case of reverse motion in icy waters.

To be able to achieve high travel velocities while maintaining the stability of the sailboat and balanced control behavior, it is proposed that the flow profiles (2, 3) protrude outward in a V shape from the boat hull and each have an aerodynamic stabilizer forming an aerodynamic aileron (4, 5), and/or the at least one underwater hydrofoil (16) is provided with a hydrodynamic stabilizer forming a hydrodynamic aileron.

    摘要: Device for controlling the trim of a boat including at least one trim tab element or the like, engaged to the transom of the boat by a hinge. At least one actuator is also provided, which is affixed to the transom by an upper terminal and to the tab by a lower terminal respectively through an upper joint and a lower joint. The lower joint includes at least two parts, of which a first part is connected to the lower terminal of the actuator and a second part includes a lower bracket affixed to the tab by fastener means, which are engaged in corresponding engagement seats on the lower bracket and the tab. The first part includes a terminal element, which is provided in a housing seat formed on the lower bracket, such to enable a relative movement of actuator and tab with at least two degrees of freedom.

    摘要: The invention concerns a cargo transfer vessel (3) for transferring fluid between an offshore production facility and a tanker and a method for transferring the fluid. The cargo transfer vessel comprise a hull (20) having a first and a second outer longitudinal hull side; a deck (30), propulsion means for actively maintaining the cargo transfer vessel at a predetermined distance from the offshore production facility and the tanker during fluid transfer operations and fluid transfer means for transferring fluid between the offshore structure and the tanker. The vessel is further characterized in that the hull comprises a main hull member and at least one protruding hull member (13) arranged below the cargo transfer vessels water line at each of the outer longitudinal hull sides for suppressing roll of the vessel, wherein the at least one protruding hull member extends at least partly along the hulls longitudinal length, i.e. from the start of the vessel's bow to the end of the vessel's aft.
