Abstract:
A kit (1) for assembling a variety of different door configurations adapted to be installed within a predetermined range of dimensions, onto a specific door opening (7) defined within a fixed structure (9) and contained within said predetermined range of dimensions. The kit (1) includes first components (11) for assembling a specific door leaf (13) shaped and sized for substantially covering the specific door opening (7). The kit (1) also includes second components (15) for mounting onto the fixed structure (9) of the specific door opening (7), the second components (15) including components (15) for assembling a track system (17) along which the specific door leaf (13) is configured to travel. The kit (1) also includes third components (19) for assembling a counterbalancing system (21) operatively connectable between the specific door leaf (13) and the fixed structure (9) for counterbalancing the specific door leaf (13) with respect to said fixed structure (9). The components (11,15,19) of the kit (1) are configured to be selectively adjustable along given increments for assembling a specific door assembly (23) representative of dimensions (25,27) of the specific door opening (7), and the components (11,15,19) of the kit (1) are further configured to be provided with adjustment means (29), and corresponding marking systems (31) representative of given increments, for selectively adjusting parameters of the components (11,15,19) of the kit (1) in response to the specific door leaf (13) being used for assembling the specific door assembly (23).
Abstract:
Two or more panels of a power-operated folding door are supported by a novel articulated arm assembly that ensures that the door closes tightly against a wall-mounted seal and easily opens. The articulated arm assembly includes a connector with two spaced-apart pivot points about which two adjoining arms of the assembly can rotate as the door opens and closes. The two pivot points allow the panels to readily fold up and store more compactly when the door is open. To provide an airtight seal where two leading panels come together at the center of the doorway, one or more control mechanisms coupled to the articulated arm assembly ensure that the leading panels overlap when the door is closed.
Abstract:
A displaceable from the opening sectioned door with track supporting post, which is fixed in a position determined by the plane and dividing lines of the opening using a detachable fixing mechanism, at the two sides of the track supporting post and up to the full height of the opening vertical guiding tracks of individually known and widely used width sectioned doors are fixed, allowing the upper end of the track supporting post, whose load bearing capacity corresponds with the size and mechanism of the sectioned door used—in a closed state and the vertical guiding tracks attached to the fixed horizontal guiding tracks with an upper fixing mechanism ensuring precise connection,—permitting sideways sliding, suspended on a roller gear over the horizontal pole guiding track, while its lower end connects to the base via a lower fixing mechanism.
Abstract:
A rail bracket is attached to a window rail with a rivet. The rivet has a non-circular shape, such as an oval shape, which cooperates with an opening in the rail bracket to prevent the rail bracket from rotating relative to the window rail during riveting.
Abstract:
A partition panel assembly includes a stationary panel member having an exposed surface including a longitudinally-extending, downwardly-exposed channel, and a door member slidably supported from the stationary panel member for movement between a closed position and an open position. The partition panel assembly also includes a door member support assembly comprising a roller assembly operably coupled to the door member, and a support member having an upwardly-extending arm received within the channel of the stationary panel member, a downwardly-extending arm abutting the exposed surface of the stationary panel member, and a track member supporting the roller of the roller assembly such that the door member is slidably supported from the stationary panel member. The partition panel assembly further includes a decelerator assembly including a spring member secured to the track member and adapted to frictionally engage the door member when the door member is proximate the open or closed position, thereby decreasing a velocity of the door member prior to the door member reaching a fully opened or closed position.
Abstract:
A curved vehicle door having a correspondingly curved windowpane and a correspondingly curved function carrier on which all of the add-on parts and door coverings are held and which can be used as protection for the occupant in the event of a lateral crash against the door. The function carrier is constructed in a sandwich-like manner from at least two shell bodies each having one of horizontal and vertical stiffening sections, the stiffening sections forming crossing points for fastening the shell bodies to each other so that the shell bodies form together a continuously closed frame of the function carrier. The outer shell body forms the curved outer side of the function carrier having at least two parallel grooves for accommodating a window lifting and lowering device which has a curvature matched to the curvature of the vehicle door.
Abstract:
This window regulator is constituted by a rail which is obtained in a single piece, by injection of a light-weight metallic alloy, integrating a great many of the window regulator components, like for example: the supports (1) for fastening the window regulator to the door of the vehicle, the support (2) and anchoring elements (6) for the drive motor used in the systems of electric window regulators, the coupling elements (5) of the Bowden system for tensioning the cable (4), necessary in the manually operated systems, the housing (8) for the cable-winding drum, the sliding or diverting elements (3) of the cable (4). Moreover, the rail leaves the mould, with an appropriate curvature for correctly following the window. glass, even though the latter has a very complex shape. Thus, the same rail can be used indistinctly for manual window regulators, electric window regulators and dual rail window regulators.
Abstract:
A transition shield for a door system (10) having a pair of tracks (15), which include a vertical track section (16) and a horizontal track section (17) connected by a transition track section (18) supported at least partially by a door jamb (11) to prevent objects from entering a transition space defined between the jamb and the transition track section, the transition shield (60) including a plate-like member (61) having a vertically extending forward edge (64) configured to fit proximate the jamb and extending rearward an extent sufficient to overly at least a portion of the transition track section to cover the transition space.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a guide device for a sliding door guided by means of a carriage in a guiding rail. The guiding rail has a channel disposed on its inside, in which the carriage is guided, and is provided with two profile parts releasably connected to each other.
Abstract:
A garage screen door system for allowing air to flow into a garage. The garage screen door system includes a screen door member comprising a plurality of panels. Each of the panels is hingably coupled to an adjacent one of the panels. The screen door member is designed for being positioned proximate a garage door opposite the entrance to the garage when the garage door is in a closed position. The screen door member is designed for permitting air flow into the garage when the garage door is in an open position. A pair of track members are positioned on opposing sides of the screen door member. Each of the track members engages a plurality of rollers rotatably coupled to the screen door member whereby the track members are for guiding the screen door member when the screen door is moved from a lowered position to a raised position.
