Abstract: A set of AP radios in a wireless network deployment for which configurations are to be deployed is identified. Those configurations deemed to be likely to cause a coverage hole are flagged as high-risk. A candidate deployment order for deploying configurations to the set of AP radios is determined based on deployment ordering criteria. The ordered APs are grouped into candidate deployment batches and a batch refinement process is performed to ensure that no neighbor AP radio is in a same deployment batch as an AP designated to receive a high-risk configuration deployment. The configurations are then deployed to the AP radios in accordance with the refined deployment batches. For any candidate deployment batch that includes a flagged AP radio and a neighbor AP radio, one of the radios is removed from the deployment batch and placed in a re-order list, which is separately subjected to ordering and batching processes.

Abstract: Examples described herein relate to providing pool-based automated lifecycle management of infrastructure via abstracted resources. According to an example, a consumption model is maintained in which heterogeneous infrastructure is represented in a generalized form as logical resource objects, including nodes and pools of the nodes. The nodes have respective node roles indicative of specific functionality the nodes are operable to provide to a workload based on the respective attributes/qualities of the nodes. A state model is maintained through which the logical resource objects are transitioned among states and responsive to which notifications are provided to an application orchestration tool associated with the workload. Interactions by the application orchestration tool with heterogeneous infrastructure utilized by the workload are abstracted by providing an API through which requests to manage a lifecycle of the heterogeneous infrastructure are expressed with reference to the logical resource objects.

Abstract: Examples described herein relate to a configuration manager for configuring a cloud application at a SaaS platform. The configuration manager is hosted on a cloud platform separate from a tenant site. The configuration manager receives a request for enabling remote management of the cloud application hosted on the tenant site. The configuration manager determines configuration content applicable for the cloud application from a configuration repository and configures the SaaS platform for remotely managing the cloud application based on the configuration content. The SaaS platform is a service associated with a management tooling used at the tenant site. The management tooling may be a monitoring tooling or a logging tooling. Once configured, the SaaS platform receives monitoring data or logging data from the infrastructure at the tenant site.

Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure relate to updating network devices belonging to a group of network devices. In one aspect, a network controller coupled to the network devices of the group of network access devices, responsive to a first command, initiates a group update process for the network devices of the group is to update the network devices of the group sequentially according to an ordered list. Responsive to a second command during the group update process while a firmware image of a particular network device is updated, the network controller aborts the group update process for the network devices of the group. Aborting the group update process comprises removing a first subset of network devices subsequent to the particular network device in the ordered list from the ordered list such that the firmware image of the first subset of network devices will not be updated and rolling back the firmware image of the particular network device.

Abstract: One aspect provides a method and system for managing address resolution requests in a network. During operation, a gateway of the network advertises a route for sending address resolution requests and determines whether a cached entry corresponding to an address resolution request received via the route exists in a neighbor table. In response to determining that the cached entry exists, the gateway responds to the address resolution request based on the cached entry; in response to determining that the cached entry does not exist, the gateway replicates the address resolution request to edge devices in the network, thereby facilitating discovery of a target host corresponding to the address resolution request.

Abstract: One embodiment provides a system and method for predicting network power usage associated with workloads. During operation, the system configures a simulator to simulate operations of a plurality of network components, which comprises embedding one or more event counters in each simulated network component. A respective event counter is configured to count a number of network-power-related events. The system collects, based on values of the event counters, network-power-related performance data associated with one or more sample workloads applied to the simulator; and trains a machine-learning model with the collected network-power-related performance data and characteristics of the sample workloads as training data 1, thereby facilitating prediction of network-power-related performance associated with a to-be-evaluated workload.

Abstract: Example implementations relate to a power control system for controlling transmission of power from one or more power supply devices to one or more loads of a modular server enclosure. The power control system includes an electronic fuse and a threshold control unit. The electronic fuse is connected between one or more loads and the one or more power supply devices of the modular server enclosure. The threshold control unit is connected to the electronic fuse and to the one or more power supply devices. The threshold control circuit dynamically adjusts a threshold current for the electronic fuse based on a power supply capacity of the one or more power supply devices. The electronic fuse controls the transmission of the power from the one or more power supply devices to the one or more loads based on threshold current and a load current drawn by the one or more loads.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for correlating a person/event of interest with other persons based on mobile device usage/location. Personally identifiable information can be kept hidden/obfuscated to protect user privacy in the case of a person of interest, as well as persons correlated to that person/event of interest. Information can be anonymized and posted for sharing with mobile device service providers, such as cellular carriers. A remotely-executed and customizable correlation engine can identify those cellular subscribers that were near/in the same location as the user. A notification alert can be sent, e.g., via an Amber Alert-like system to cellular subscribers that have been in proximity to the user or known areas in which events-of-interest have occurred. Location-based datasets can be flattened into an optimized data structure reflecting preferred location logics, and an application programming interface (API) and obfuscation layer can be used based on the flattened datasets.
