Abstract: The present application relates to selecting one or more of activated transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for communications between a network and a user equipment. In an example, the network includes multiple transmission and reception points (TRPs) with which the UE communications. An activated TCI state can be a unified downlink TCI state that applies to multiple downlink channels or a unified uplink TCI state that applies to multiple uplink channels, where this state has already been activated by the network for the UE. Based on a predefined set of rules or network-based signaling, the UE can determine for a downlink or uplink communication with the network, one or more of the activated TCI states to use to then perform the downlink or uplink communication with the network.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and circuitries are provided for supporting aggregated retransmissions. In one example, a method includes receiving control information that indicates resources including one or more slots for communication of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission that includes at least one PDSCH/PUSCH retransmission A slot group to which a selected one of the one or more slots belongs is identified. The method includes configuring operation to receive the PDSCH transmission or to transmit the PUSCH transmission based on the resources. In response to determining that a PDSCH/PUSCH retransmission of the PDSCH/PUSCH transmission is scheduled for a slot outside the identified slot group, operation is configured to provide hybrid automatic repetition request (HARQ) feedback based on PDSCH/PUSCH retransmissions scheduled for slots within the identified slot group, wherein the HARQ feedback is not based on PDSCH/PUSCH scheduled for slots outside the identified slot group.

Abstract: Systems and methods for control signaling for beam searching latency reduction are disclosed herein. A g Node B (gNB) may determine that a first Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) and a second SSB are to be spatially correlated and may select a first transmit (Tx) beam to transmit the first SSB and a second Tx beam to transmit the second SSB accordingly. The gNB may also transmit a correlation message including spatial correlation information to help a UE determine the spatial correlation. The UE may measure the first SSB on a first subset of a plurality of receive (Rx) beams and measure the second SSB on a second subset of the plurality of Rx beams, and select an Rx beam for one or both. In some embodiments, channel state information reference signals (CSI-RS) that are quasi co-located (QCLed) with a given SSB may be measured in place of the SSB.

Abstract: A user equipment may use a soft acknowledgment/negative-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) report to indicate a number of desired repetitions for Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH).
