Abstract: A display device includes a plurality of driving circuits, a plurality of terminals formed in each of the plurality of driving circuits, a plurality of signal lines connected to the plurality of terminals, a plurality of pixel electrodes, each of the plurality of pixel electrodes connected to each of the plurality of signal lines; and a switch configured to change a connection mode between the plurality of terminals and the plurality of signal lines. The plurality of signal lines includes a first line, a second line and a third line arrayed in this order. The plurality of terminals includes a first terminal. The switch, configured to change from a first connection mode to a second connection mode, the first terminal connecting the first line and the second line in the first connection mode, and the first terminal connecting the second line and the third line in the second connection mode.

Abstract: A display device comprises: data lines extending in a first direction; gate lines extending in a second direction, and being divided into groups each of which has the gate lines adjacent in the first direction; selection signal supplying wirings each of which is provided in each group, and connected to each control electrode of the selector transistors corresponding to the group; gate voltage supplying wirings connected to the other conductive electrode of each of the selector transistors corresponding to the group; and wherein a gate driver supplies a second gate voltage having a voltage level lower than that of a first gate voltage to at least one of the gate voltage supplying wirings in each of the groups before supplying the first gate voltage in order to turn on a pixel transistor disposed in an intersection portion of the data line and the gate line.

Abstract: An electrostatic capacitive coupling type touch panel including an input region having four sides, a peripheral region around the input region, terminals formed in the peripheral region along a first side of the input region, wirings formed in the peripheral region along second, third and fourth sides of the input region, and the input region having X and Y electrodes crossing. The wirings are connected between corresponding X or Y electrodes and wiring terminals plurality of terminals. A dummy wiring, which is not connected to any of the X electrodes or Y electrodes, is provided outside the wiring formed in a farthest position from the input region, and the dummy wiring extends through the peripheral region along the second, third and fourth sides of the input region, and electrically connects to at least one dummy wiring terminal.

Abstract: A display driving circuit having a shift register is formed on the display panel. The shift register includes a first stage having first and second transistors and a second stage having a third and fourth transistor. A voltage of a control electrode of the first transistor is boosted by a voltage of a first pulse line changing from low to high. In an On state, the second transistor connects the control electrode of the first transistor and a constant voltage line. A voltage of a control electrode of the third transistor is boosted by a voltage of a second pulse line changing from low to high. In an On state, the fourth transistor connects the control electrode of the third transistor and a constant voltage line. The fourth transistor is switched on by a signal from the first stage.

Abstract: A display device with a touch panel includes a display panel, and a touch panel formed above the display panel. Abstract: A LCD device having a large pixel holding capacitance includes opposedly facing first and second substrates, and liquid crystal between them. The first substrate includes a video signal line, a pixel electrode, a thin film transistor having a first electrode connected to the video signal line and a second electrode connected to the pixel electrode, a first silicon nitride film formed above the second electrode, an organic insulation film above the first silicon nitride film, a capacitance electrode above the organic insulation film, and a second silicon nitride film above the capacitance electrode and below the pixel electrode. A contact hole etched in both the first and second silicon nitride films connects the second electrode and the pixel electrode to each other. A holding capacitance is formed by the pixel electrode, the second silicon nitride film and the capacitance electrode.

Abstract: A display device includes a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix. Each of the plurality of pixels includes a transistor and a pixel electrode arranged above the transistor through a first protective film and a second protective film.
