Abstract: A guide system for guiding at least one movably-supported door wing, in particular a folding-sliding-door, relative to a stationary furniture part. The guide system includes a carrier for movably supporting the at least one door wing, a guide rail configured to be fixed to the stationary furniture part for guiding the at least one carrier, a guiding device for displaceably supporting the at least one carrier along the guide rail, a running carriage configured to be coupled to the at least one door wing, and a receiving device for receiving the at least one running carriage. Abstract: A rear door assembly includes a rear opening and a roof structure having a recessed area. A carrier is movable along a portion of the recessed area between a rearward location to a forward location. A motor is attached to the carrier and the vehicle. The motor is operable to move the carrier relative to the roof structure and the rear opening between the rearward location and the forward location. A rear door has a hinge pivotally supported to the carrier for movement therewith. The rear door is movable between a door closed orientation covering the rear opening, an intermediate orientation partially exposing the rear opening and a door open orientation exposing the rear opening. A linear movement device has a first end attached to the carrier for movement therewith and a second end attached to the rear door at a location spaced apart from the hinge.

Abstract: A vehicle door assembly includes a vehicle body structure, a first door, a second door and a support assembly. The vehicle body structure has a wall portion that defines a door opening. The support assembly is fixed to the wall portion proximate the door opening and has at least one pair of tracks with door support devices and a motorized door mechanism. The door support devices independently support the first door and the second door for movement along the at least one pair of tracks and the motorized door mechanism is configured to raise and lower the door support devices along with the first door and the second door from respective closed orientations covering corresponding sections of the door opening and open orientations exposing the corresponding sections of the door opening.

Abstract: The present invention provides an aircraft passenger accommodation unit comprising a seat, a shell that allows a passenger egress between an aisle and the seat through an opening, and a door assembly comprising a door slidable with respect to the shell between a retracted position and an extended position, a slide track attached to the shell, a slide runner for sliding along the slide track, and a connection mechanism for selectively connecting the door to the slide runner, wherein the door has a first sliding mode in which the connection mechanism connects the door to the slide runner and wherein the slide runner slides along the slide track, and a second sliding mode in which the connection mechanism does not connect the door to the slide runner and wherein the door slides in relation to the slide track. The invention also provides a door arrangement and associated methods.
