    Abstract: Provided are a method of evaluating biogas power generation suitability performed by a biogas power generation suitability evaluation server including a processor and a memory, the method comprises extracting, from satellite image data of an evaluation target area, an area corresponding to the evaluation target area, calculating a size of biogas generation facilities included in the evaluation target area based on the extracted area, calculating a biogas concentration of the evaluation target area from the satellite image data and evaluating the biogas power generation suitability based on the size of the biogas generation facilities and the biogas concentration of the evaluation target area, wherein the calculating of the biogas concentration of the evaluation target area comprises calculating an average value of biogas concentrations of area corresponding to the evaluation target area, and the evaluating of the biogas power generation suitability comprises calculating, based on the size of the biogas generation facilities that are livestock barns and the average value of the biogas concentrations of the areas corresponding to the evaluation target area, a size of livestock in the livestock barns, and calculating biogas power generation potential in the evaluation target area based on the size of livestock in the livestock barns.

    Abstract: A method for decoding a signal encoded with polar codes by a decoding system is provided. The method comprises receiving, from a transmission system, a signal in which a plurality of cyclic redundancy checks (CRCs) are encoded by the polar codes, the plurality of CRCs being inserted into positions determined based on a plurality of information bits, a number of the plurality of information bits and a total code length, and decoding a code section including bits ranging from a first bit of the signal to a position where a last bit of a first CRC is inserted. The method further comprises re-performing successive cancellation flip decoding for the decoded code section, or determining whether to decode a next code section adjacent to the decoded code section, based on whether a CRC is detected in the decoded code section.

    Abstract: A real-time scheduling apparatus and method for suppressing battery aging of a satellite system are disclosed. A real-time scheduling method for suppressing battery aging of a satellite system according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure may include acquiring task information including a request period and an execution time of each of a plurality of tasks which is performed in the satellite system; determining an execution limit range and an execution order for each of the plurality of tasks which satisfies a predetermined real-time constraint based on the task information; and determining an optimal execution timing within the execution limit range of each of the plurality of tasks, based on the execution order and consumed current information of each of the plurality of tasks.

    Abstract: A method of preparing a mouse model of herpes using a herpes simplex virus and hydrocortisone, and a mouse model of herpes prepared the method are disclosed. When the preparation method is used, an animal model in which the symptoms of herpes clearly appear can be prepared, and thus the animal model can be widely used in the development of therapeutic agents for herpes simplex virus infection. A use of the mouse model in screening and developing a candidate therapeutic agent is also disclosed.
