Abstract: A user equipment (UE), or other network component can operate to configure channel state information (CSI) feedback in response to receiving a CSI-reference signal (CSI-RS) according to a hierarchical precoding scheme that selectively reduces a feedback overhead associated with the CSI feedback. The UE can operate to divide and further sub-divide a frequency band (e.g., a wideband, or particular frequency part) into a precoding hierarchy to generate precoders for conveyance to a base station, eNodeB (eNB), or next generation NodeB (gNB) via the CSI feedback.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems are provided for signalling transmissions using carriers of different numerologies. In one example, a baseband processor of a base station is configured to perform operations including encoding a first signal to be transmitted on a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) on a first component carrier with a first subcarrier spacing. The first signal includes downlink control information (DCI) indicating resources for a second signal to be transmitted on a second component carrier with a second subcarrier spacing. Respective numerologies of the first component carrier and the second component carrier are different from one another in accordance with the first subcarrier spacing and the second subcarrier spacing. The baseband processor is configured to cause transmission of the first signal on the PDCCH.

Abstract: The implementations disclosed provide apparatus, systems, and methods for channel structure construction for a two-step random access channel (RACH) using a new radio (NR) user equipment (UE) wireless device. The wireless device includes one or more computer processors configured to generate a physical RACH (PRACH) preamble mapped to a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resource unit. The PRACH preamble is associated with a preamble group indicating a configuration of the PUSCH. The preamble group has a size indicated by radio resource control (RRC) signaling performed by the wireless device. A message is encoded including the PRACH preamble and a payload carried by the PUSCH. The configuration of the PUSCH includes parameters for decoding the message. The wireless device couples communicatively to a base station using the PUSCH. The message is transmitted to the base station. The base station decodes the message based on the parameters of the PUSCH configuration.

Abstract: A method for wireless communication includes: requesting transmission, by a wireless device, of uplink (UL) transmissions to a wireless station; receiving, by the wireless device, a UL cancellation indication (CI) to be applied to a determined reference region; determining, by the wireless device, a set of UL resources for cancellation based on the UL CI received from the wireless station (e.g., by determining an indication of particular interlaces and/or particular Physical Resource Blocks within such interlaces that are to be canceled), wherein at least a subset of the UL resources for cancellation are interlaced; and canceling, by the wireless device, UL transmissions over at least the determined set of UL resources for cancellation (i.e., additional UL transmissions may be cancelled, too). The wireless device may then perform UL transmissions that do not overlap with the determined set of UL resources for cancellation in any UL CI to the wireless station.

Abstract: Configuring channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) reporting at a network may include encoding a single CSI-RS reporting configuration for transmission to a user equipment (UE) that is in connected mode with both a first transmission and reception point (TRP) and a second TRP. The single CSI-RS reporting configuration may include a plurality of CSI-RS resource sets. Each of the plurality of CSI-RS resource sets may include a plurality of CSI-RS resources. At least one of the plurality of CSI-RS resource sets may include CSI-RS resources that correspond to the first TRP or the second TRP. A CSI measurement communication received from the UE may be decoded. The CSI measurement communication may be based on the single CSI-RS reporting configuration communication. Abstract: Switching schemes at a mobile device may include, in response to being within range of a transmission and reception point (TRP) of a plurality of TRPs associated with a high speed train (HST), decoding a communication received from a network. The communication may include a first radio resource control (RRC) information element (IE) having an HST configuration associated with an HST scheme. The HST configuration may be applied to thereby operate using the HST scheme. In response to being out of range of the plurality of TRPs associated with the HST, a communication received from the network may be decoded. The communication may include a second RRC IE having a non-HST configuration associated with a non-HST scheme. The non-HST configuration may be applied to thereby operate using the non-HST scheme.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) associated with a wireless communication system is disclosed. The UE comprises a processor configured to receive a first downlink control information (DCI) for scheduling a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The first DCI includes a non-numerical (NN) value of K1 for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-ACK feedback. The processor is further configured to determine a first priority class associated with the first PDSCH, and determine K1 value and priority class associated with one or more subsequent PDSCH received from the BS, until a selected PDSCH having a numerical K1 value and a same priority class as the first priority class is identified. Further, the processor is configured to provide HARQ-ACK feedback associated with the first PDSCH using a PUCCH/PUSCH occasion indicated by a second DCI scheduling the selected PDSCH.
