Abstract: Techniques are described relating to hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback using a HARQ-ACK aggregation window. A User Equipment (UE) may receive control information (e.g., downlink control information (DCI) or radio resource control (RRC) signaling) from a base station including HARQ-ACK codebook information. The HARQ-ACK codebook information may include information on a size of a HARQ-ACK aggregation window. The UE may decode physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions and encode corresponding HARQ-ACK feedback using the HARQ-ACK aggregation window based on the control signaling.

Abstract: Briefly, in accordance with one or more embodiments, an apparatus of a user equipment (UE) comprises circuitry to configure a scheduling request (SR) transmission based on a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), and combine the scheduling request with a buffer status report (BSR). The UE transmits the combined SR and BSR in a single subframe to a network entity, receives uplink resource scheduling from the network entity in reply to the combined SR and BSR, and transmits uplink data to the network entity according to the uplink resource scheduling.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are apparatuses, systems, and methods using or implementing dynamic beamforming in control channels, by transmitting downlink control channels to user equipment (UEs) in a number of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols of a downlink subframe. A first OFDM symbol of the number of OFDM symbols can be transmitted using first beamforming parameters in a first direction, and a second OFDM symbol of the number of OFDM symbols can be transmitted using second beamforming parameters different from the first beamforming parameters and in a second direction different from the first direction. The number of OFDM symbols used, as well as other parameters, can be dynamically adjusted in subsequent subframes. Other embodiments are described.

Abstract: An eNodeB (eNB), user equipment (UE) and method of providing a flexible Radio Access Technology (FRAT) are generally described. The information (resource allocation, partition information and numerology) of at least one of a plurality of RATs used by the eNB is provided to a UE. Each RAT has a flexible subcarrier spacing and symbol duration, which are integer multiples of a base subcarrier spacing and symbol duration, and is associated with at least one of different temporal and frequency resources. The symbol and/or frame structure of each RAT are independent. A Transmission Time Interval (TTI) boundary between the RATs is common, and the RATs comprise a common reference TTI duration. The information of the RATs is provided either via a different RAT than the RAT used by the UE for communication or via a dedicated carrier in the RAT used by the UE for communication.

Abstract: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), Next Generation Node-B (gNB) and methods of communication are generally described herein. A channel state information (CSI) report may include a CSI part 1 transmission and may be configurable to include a CSI part 2 transmission. The UE may determine a first number of coded modulation symbols per layer to be used for the CSI part 1 transmission on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) without uplink shared channel (UL-SCH) data. The first number of coded modulation symbols per layer may be determined as: a minimum of a first term and a second term if the CSI report includes the CSI part 2 transmission; and the second term if the CSI report does not include the CSI part 2 transmission.
