Abstract: A storage device stores an operation history in which at least one of four types of data, picture, graphic, symbol, and keyword, in a first data set used in image formation on a sheet by the image forming device is associated with a setting data set manipulated by a user during the image formation. An image reading device reads an original document for use in forming an image and generates a second data set. A comparator compares at least one of the four types of data in each of the stored first data sets with at least corresponding one type of data in the second data set and selects the first data set consistent with the second data set. A screen creator uses the setting data set associated with the selected first data set to create a setting screen for image formation. A display device displays the created setting screen.

Abstract: A toner collection device includes a toner collection container, a toner conveying passage, a side wall, a recessed sensing portion, and a detection sensor. Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a drum unit, a development unit, a supporting part, and a biasing part. The supporting part supports the development unit so as to be shiftable in directions close to and separate from the drum unit. The biasing part biases a development housing of the development unit toward the drum unit. The drum unit is attachable to and detachable from a main housing. When the drum unit is not attached to the main housing, the development unit is biased by the biasing part and is positioned closer to the drum unit than a predetermined position of the development unit when the drum unit is attached. When the drum unit is attached to the main housing, a drum frame of the drum unit pushes away the development housing against a biasing force of the biasing part to shift the development unit to the predetermined position.

Abstract: A drying apparatus which dries a medium on which an image is formed with ink while conveying the medium includes a conveyance part, a heating part, a measurement part and a controller. The conveyance part conveys the medium in a predetermined conveyance direction. The heating part supplies energy to the image on the sheet conveyed in the conveyance part and dries the image. The measurement part measures a value accompanied with moisture contained in the medium. The controller estimates an amount of moisture contained in the medium based on the value measured by the measurement part, and controls at least one of the conveyance part and the heating part so as to change an amount of the energy supplied to the image based on the estimated amount of moisture.

Abstract: A print processing portion causes a print device to execute printing of a print image based on print data in accordance with a first scanning amount detected when manual scanning is performed at a first time. A density complementation processing portion causes the print processing portion to execute reprinting in accordance with a second scanning amount detected when the manual scanning is performed at at least a second time. When the manual scanning is performed at at least the second time, the density complementation processing portion identifies density insufficient parts in the print image printed by the print device based on the scanning amount and an image read by an optical reading device. Furthermore, the density complementation processing portion causes the print processing portion to execute the reprinting for the density insufficient parts.
