    Abstract: A method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE) from a base station, a trigger for aperiodic sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission for a group of component carriers (CCs), and selecting for transmission, by the UE and in response to the trigger, one or more SRS resource sets for each CC of the group of one or more CCs. At least one CC has multiple SRS resource sets configured. The UE transmits, to the base station, an SRS on each CC of the group of CCs based on the selecting. Another method of wireless communication includes transmitting, by a base station to a UE, a trigger for aperiodic SRS transmission for a group of CCs. At least one CC has multiple SRS resource sets configured for the UE. The base station receives, from the UE, one or more SRS on each CC of the group of CCs.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a transmitting device, which may explicitly or implicitly signal the use of continuous precoding for a resource block (RB) cluster. For example, the transmitting device may implicitly indicate that continuous precoding is applied to an RB cluster by dynamically controlling one or more parameters of a transmission over those RBs. Further, when continuous precoding is applied to an RB cluster, the transmitting device may explicitly or implicitly signal the dynamic control over one or more transmission properties, with an aim to maximize the benefits of such continuous precoding. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications in a wireless network via a radio access technology. The method generally includes determining dimensions of a matrix to be used for performing interleaving of modulated symbols carrying bits, from a plurality of code blocks, for mapping into bundles of resource elements, in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (OFDM) system, based, at least in part, on one of a ratio of a code block size to a number of bits to be mapped into each resource element or the number of bits to be mapped into each resource element, performing the interleaving of the modulated symbols, according to the matrix having the determined dimensions, and transmitting the interleaved modulated symbols in the wireless network via the radio access technology. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also described and claimed.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. These wireless communications may include channel estimation procedures between communicating devices such as a base station and user equipment (UE). For example, the UE may receive, from the base station, a resource grant triggering a given reference signal configuration. Based at least in part on the type of reference signal configuration, the UE (e.g., and the base station) may determine a timing offset relative to the resource grant. The UE may transmit (and the base station may receive) the reference signal based at least in part on the timing offset. In some cases, the reference signal may be transmitted in a transmission opportunity of a set of transmission opportunities, where the set of transmission opportunities is determined based at least in part on the reference signal configuration.
