    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The methods, systems, and devices may enable a base station to determine an operation state for a user equipment (UE) that corresponds to how the UE applies a preemption indication. The base station may indicate the operation state to the UE using a parameter of a configuration message. The base station may transmit a grant indicating time-frequency resources scheduled for the UE. The UE may identify a priority of a channel associated with the scheduled resources. The base station may determine a number of scheduled resources to be preempted or canceled and may indicate these resources to the UE using a preemption indication. The UE may determine remaining time-frequency resources based on the preemption indication, the priority of the channels, the operation state, or a combination thereof.

    Abstract: The base station may transmit, to a UE, a configuration of a set of secure RSs for each CC of a set of CCs and at least one RE, and instruct the UE to select a subset of CCs from a set of CCs. The base station and the UE may measure the set of secure RS across the at least one RE, and select the subset of CCs from the set of CCs based on the measurement. The base station and the UE may communicate with each other on the subset of CCs. The base station and the UE may communicate with each other on a first CC of the subset of CCs, and switch the CC from the first CC to a second CC of the subset of CCs to communicate with each other, based on a number of ACKs/NACKs transmitted or a pattern.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may configure a user equipment (UE) with quasi co-located (QCL) associations between a physical uplink control channel and a sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission for at least one time and frequency domain channel parameter. The UE may transmit, in accordance with the QCL association, a control channel transmission via the physical uplink control channel using an antenna port that is quasi co-located with at least one antenna port for transmitting the SRS transmission and transmit, in accordance with the QCL association, the SRS transmission via the at least one antenna port. In another example, the base station may configure the UE with an antenna port association between an SRS transmission and a physical uplink control channel. The UE may transmit the SRS transmission and a control channel transmission in accordance with the antenna port association.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) having partially coherent antennas may be configured for simultaneous transmissions on groups of antennas. To achieve the benefits of simultaneous transmissions using groups of antenna that are partially coherent, without having the transmissions affect each other, the UE may apply a hybrid closed-loop multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) scheme among each antenna in the antenna groups where phase coherence can be maintained Following the hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme, the UE may apply a transparent diversity scheme across each antenna of the groups. Alternatively, the UE may first apply the transparent diversity scheme and next apply the hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme. By applying a hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme, and a transparent diversity scheme, the UE may fully realize its resources and contribute to an improved spatial diversity for a MIMO system.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a relay user equipment (UE) may detect, on a sidelink, a sidelink transmission that carries a transport block (TB) to be forwarded to a base station. The relay UE may detect, on an access link, an uplink transmission that carries the TB. The relay UE may generate a message that includes the TB to be forwarded to the base station, wherein the message includes data associated with the TB that is obtained from one or more of the sidelink transmission or the uplink transmission. The relay UE may transmit the message to the base station via the access link. Numerous other aspects are described.

In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a message indicating a capability of the UE to support power splitting for signals received at the UE for EH by the UE. In some examples, the UE may transmit, based on the capability of the UE to support power splitting, an indication of a power splitting factor for EH by the UE, the power splitting factor indicating a portion of received power for signals received at the UE to be used for EH. The UE may receive a signal to use for power splitting based at least in part on the capability of the UE to support power splitting for signals received at the UE for EH by the UE and the power splitting factor.
