摘要: Methods and apparatuses for autonomous relay of statistics from a network device to a network controller of a software-defined networking (SDN) network are described. The network controller is operative to transmit a message including a statistics profile, where the statistics profile includes a type of data to be collected associated with a behavior of a flow at the network device and a set of one or more criteria; where the message causes the network device to transmit a statistics message associated with one or more flows when the one or more flows satisfy at least one criterion from the set of one or more criteria, where the statistics message includes data collected at the network device associated with a behavior of the one or more flows as identified by the type of data to be collected included in the statistics profile.

摘要: An audio signal, having first and second regions of frequency spectrum, is coded. Spectral peaks in the first region are encoded by a first coding method. For a segment of the audio signal, a relation between energy of bands in the first and second regions is determined. A relation between the energy of the band in the second region and energy of neighboring bands in the second region is determined. A determination is made whether available bits are sufficient for encoding at least one non-peak segment of the first region and the band in the second region. Responsive to first and second relations fulfilling a respective predetermined criterion and a sufficient number of bits, encoding the band in the second region using a second coding method different from the first coding method, and otherwise, subjecting the band in the second region to BandWidth Extension BWE or noise fill.

摘要: Systems and methods for providing Channel State Information (CSI) feedback in a cellular communications network are disclosed. In some embodiments, a base station of a cellular communications network disables inter-subframe channel interpolation of CSI-RS estimates across subframes at the wireless device and receives one or more CSI reports from the wireless device that are generated by the wireless device with inter-subframe channel interpolation of CSI-RS estimates across subframes disabled in response to the base station disabling inter-subframe channel interpolation of CSI-RS estimates across subframes at the wireless device. In this manner, CSI feedback is improved particularly in embodiments in which the base station transmits a beamformed CSI-RS resource(s) and reuses the same CSI-RS resource(s) for different beams over time.

摘要: A method of obtaining addressing information may include establishing a communication path through a network between first and second peer devices with a router coupled between the first peer device and the communication path through the network. A communication may be received at the first peer device from the second peer device through the communication path and the router. Moreover, a payload of the communication received at the first peer device from the second peer device may include a public reachability address used by the second peer device to transmit the communication through the network and the router to the first peer device. Related methods of providing such addressing information and related devices are also discussed.

摘要: In some embodiments, a method receives a trigger to set up a bearer path connecting a first party (A) and a second party (B) via a media connection function. The method determines a predicted time gap between when the media connection function is expected to receive a bearer packet from the first party (A) and when the media connection function is expected to receive a bearer packet from the second party (B). The method uses the predicted time gap to delay connection setup toward whichever of the first party (A) or the second party (B) is expected to receive the bearer packet first.

摘要: Systems and methods for triggering interference mitigation at a wireless device in a cellular communications network are disclosed. In one embodiment, a node associated with a cellular communications network makes a determination to trigger interference mitigation at a wireless device based on a signal load in at least one interfering cell from which transmissions result in interference at the wireless device during reception from a desired cell, a relation between reference signals used in the desired cell and the at least one interfering cell, and a timing relation between at least one of a group consisting of: signals transmitted by the desired cell and the at least one interfering cell and signals received at the wireless device from the desired cell and the at least one interfering cell. In response to making the determination, the node triggers interference mitigation at the wireless device.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for triggering a long range extension mode of operation for a wireless device in a cellular communications network. In one preferred embodiment, the wireless device is a Machine Type Communication (MTC) device. In one embodiment, a node in the cellular communications network determines that the wireless device is to operate in the long range extension mode if there is difficulty in establishing communication between the wireless device and the cellular communications network. If the wireless device is to operate in the long range extension mode, the node activates one or more long range extension mechanisms with respect to the wireless device such that the wireless device operates in the long range extension mode. In this manner, the long range extension mode is selectively triggered for the wireless device.
