Abstract:
A cooling device for regulating the temperature of a heat source of a satellite. The cooling device comprises at least one fluid loop is formed by an evaporator comprising a tank, at least one condenser, two conduits connecting the evaporator to the condenser, a heat transfer fluid flowing inside the fluid loop. The cooling device further comprises a device for pressurizing the fluid loop or a thermal damper. The thermal damper comprises a variable volume leak-tight chamber having a volume which varies on the basis of the operating temperature of the fluid loop so as to provide a substantially constant temperature inside the fluid loop.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a method for correcting a digital image stored by a client device by geometric adjustment of this image onto a reference image stored by a server device connected to the client device by a communication network. The method is characterised in that it includes the following steps: obtaining, by the server device, at least one area of interest of the reference image, sending, to each client device, each area of interest, obtaining, by the client device, part of the image delimited by each received area of interest, said image part being either a part of the image to be corrected or a part of an image resulting from the image to be corrected, sending, to the server device, each image part thus obtained, determining, by the server device, parameters of the correction to apply to the image to be corrected, said parameters being determined by geometric adjustment of said received at least one image part onto the reference image, sending, to the client device, the parameters thus determined, and applying, by the client device, the correction of the image to be corrected, said correction using firstly the received parameters and secondly a ground elevation model corresponding to this image to be corrected.
Abstract:
A method and telecommunications system for identifying uplink multiplexing resources of a multi-beam satellite that are usable in a land-based telecommunications system, e.g., a transmitting station for transmitting radio signals to a receiving station. The transmitting station or the receiving station being a base station having a range defining a coverage area. For a given uplink multiplexing resource, a maximum allowable interference level, with respect to the satellite, for radio-electric signals transmitted from the coverage area is estimated. A potential interference level of the transmitting station is estimated. The transmitting station determines the usability of the given uplink multiplexing resource by comparing the potential interference level with the maximum allowed interference level for the given uplink multiplexing resource.
Abstract:
An electromechanical actuator (10), comprising a movable member (14) provided with connecting means (20) and translationally movable with respect to a frame (12), and an energy absorbing-dissipating structure (28, 30) located on a strain path between said connecting means (20) and said frame (12) and comprising a porous capillary matrix (40) having an apparent porosity and an associated liquid (42) having a wetting angle higher than 90 degrees relative to said matrix (40) and selected such that part of said liquid (42) penetrates the pores of said matrix (40), when said chamber is subjected to a pressure equal to or higher than a first pressure level P1, and is spontaneously rejected off the pores of said matrix (40) by capillary action, when said structure is subjected to a pressure lower than a second pressure level P2 itself lower than said first pressure level P1.
Abstract:
A device for connecting sections of wings such as wind turbine blades, which has, at the ends of adjacent sections, central box structures that are placed end-to-end and are clamped together by clamping rods, and a method for producing sections of wings such as wind turbine blades, which includes a step of producing devices for connecting the sections in the form of central joining box structures
Abstract:
An imaging device intended to be placed on board a satellite or an aircraft comprises at least two detector arrays that are arranged in the same focal plane. Each detector array itself comprises a unidirectional detector and at least one additional detector, produced on one same single-piece substrate dedicated to said detector array. The arrangement of the detectors in the focal plane is then carried out in a modular fashion, by positioning the respective substrates of the detector arrays. Several arrangements are proposed that are compatible with the unidirectional and bidirectional push-broom scanning modes.
Abstract:
The subject matter of the invention is a method for draping on a form, which includes a step of deposition on the form of a first fold support in the form of one or more polymer nonwoven fabrics. The invention further relates to a thermoplastic nonwoven material manufactured with a nonwoven fabric of polymer fibers.
Abstract:
Detection of the congestion on a link based on an exchange of messages between a sender and a receiver, one sender and several receivers or several senders and one receiver. This equipment is connected to the ends of a transmission channel. One of the items of equipment is designated as the master and the others slaves. These exchanges are aimed at enabling the master to calculate and compare the rate of the data send and the rate of the data received. A divergence in the rates calculated reveals a congestion on the link. All these exchanges are made in the application layer and therefore do not involve the underlying layers.
Abstract:
