Methods for detecting helpful query responses include generating helpfulness terminology data corresponding to words, terms, phrases and/or symbols that correspond to an expression of helpfulness. A query based exchange including multiple messages is identified. The messages are analyzed using the helpfulness terminology data to detect a helpful message. The helpful message is associated with a source participant and a helpfulness value that corresponds to the source participant is modified. A value corresponding to the query based exchange indicating that the query based exchange was successful is stored.

    摘要: A new and distinct variety of apple tree ‘MAIA1’ is described, derived from a cross of ‘Honeycrisp’ and ‘Fuji’. This new variety is unique from parent ‘Honeycrisp’ by being harvested in mid-October, 6-8 weeks after ‘Honeycrisp’. This new variety is unique from parent ‘Fuji’ by tree form, with ‘MAIA1’ being moderate vigor, more open tree canopy and higher spur density as contrasted with the bushy, tight tree canopy and lower spur density of ‘Fuji’. ‘MAIA1’ blooms approximately one week later than parent ‘Fuji’. ‘MAIA1’ fruit is moderate size, very crisp, sweet and long keeping, both in refrigerated storage and at room temperature.

    摘要: Series interconnection of optoelectronic device modules is disclosed. Each device module includes an active layer disposed between a bottom electrode and a transparent conducting layer. An insulating layer is disposed between the bottom electrode of a first device module and a backside top electrode of the first device module. One or more vias are formed through the active layer, transparent conducting layer and insulating layer of the first device module. Sidewalls of the vias are coated with an insulating material such that a channel is formed through the insulating material to the backside top electrode of the first device module. The channel is at least partially filled with an electrically conductive material to form a plug that makes electrical contact between the transparent conducting layer and the backside top electrode of the first device module. Portions of the backside top electrode and insulating layer of a second device module are cut back to expose a portion of the bottom electrode of the second device module. The first and second device modules are attached to an insulating carrier substrate. Electrical contact is made between the backside top electrode of the first device module and the exposed portion of the bottom electrode of the second device module.

    摘要: Quasi-phasematching design to provide an approximation to a desired spectral amplitude response A(f) is provided. An initial phase response φ(f) corresponding to A(f) is generated. Preferably, d2φ(f)/df2 is proportional to A2(f). Alternatively, φ(f) can be a polynomial in f. A function h(x) is computed such that h(x) and H(f)=A(f)exp(iφ(f)) are a Fourier transform pair. A domain pattern function d(x) is computed by binarizing h(x) (i.e., approximating h(x) with a constant-amplitude approximation). In some cases, the response provided by this d(x) is sufficiently close to A(f) that no further design work is necessary. In other cases, the design can be iteratively improved by modifying φ(f) responsive to a difference between the desired response A(f) and the response provided by domain pattern d(x). Various approaches for binarization are provided. The availability of multiple binarization approaches is helpful for making design trades (e.g., in one example, fidelity to A(f) can be decreased to increase efficiency and to increase domain size).
