    Abstract: Power efficient measurements may be implemented for high frequency operations. A WTRU may determine measurement occasions, DRX cycle/configuration transitions, DRX pause/resume, DRX timer operation, and/or BFR based on scheduling activity, beam configuration, BFI detection, BFD, beam loss, etc. A WTRU may be configured with multiple DRX cycles and measurement opportunities (e.g., with different periodicities). The WTRU may perform (e.g., RS) measurement(s) with determined/configured timing (e.g., DRX on-durations) in a first DRX cycle based on condition(s). The WTRU may switch to a second DRX cycle and perform RS measurement(s) with determined/configured timing based on condition(s) (e.g., counted number of BFIs detected in first DRX cycle). The WTRU may switch from the second (e.g., short) DRX cycle to the first (e.g., long) DRX cycle or to non-DRX operation (e.g., DRX suspension or reset DRX inactivity timer) based on condition(s) (e.g., number of BFIs in first and/or second DRX cycle(s)).

    Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, systems, devices, and computer program products directed to phase-continuous frequency selective precoding are provided. Included among these classes are methods for use in connection with dynamic precoding resource block group (PRG) configuration and with codebook based transmission configuration. A representative of such methods may include any of receiving signaling indicating transmit precoding information; determining a candidate PRG size using any of the transmit precoding information, a rule for determining a PRG size and configured PRG sizes; and configuring or reconfiguring a wireless transmit/receive device in accordance with the candidate PRG size. Another of the representative methods may include reporting a transmission coherence capability of a wireless transmit/receive unit; receiving a codebook subset restriction (CBSR) commensurate with the transmission coherence capability; determining a transmit precoding matrix indices (TPMI) size based on the CBSR; receiving a TPMI; and detecting or decoding the TPMI based on the determined TPMI size.

    Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may establish a multi-access (MA) protocol data unit (PDU) in accordance with the examples described herein. The WTRU may establish a new packet data network (PDN) connection or identify a suitable existing PDN connection in an evolved packet core (EPC), establish a MA-PDU in a 5G core network (5GC), and associate the existing PDN with the MA-PDU. The WTRU may already have a MA-PDU session established in 5GC with both 3GPP access leg and non-3GPP access leg in 5GC, and the WTRU may replace the 3GPP access leg in 5GC with a suitable PDN connection in EPC. The WTRU may send a request for establishing a single-access PDU session in 5GC via non-3GPP access, and a 5GC network may upgrade a PDU session established for the WTRU to a MA-PDU with 3GPP access leg in EPC.

The relay WTRU may include sending, to the second WTRU, a LMR message received from the first WTRU, the LMR message including a request for a release of the connection, and sending, to the first WTRU, a LMA message received from the second WTRU, where the LMA message includes an acceptance of the release of the connection, The relay WTRU may include sending, to the second WTRU, a link release request message received from the first WTRU including one or more new MSBs of a new KNRP ID and sending, to the first WTRU, a link release response message received from the second WTRU, the link release response message including one or more new LSBs of the new KNRP ID, where the new KNRP ID is formed by combining the new MSBs and the new LSBS.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for transmitting uplink control information in an LTE Advanced system are disclosed. A user device may determine whether uplink control information and/or available channels meet certain criteria and determine whether the uplink control information should be transmitted on a physical uplink control channel, a physical uplink shared channel, or both, based on the criteria. Criteria may include the size of the uplink control information (absolute size or relative to space available on a channel or a threshold value), the type of control information bits, the number of available (i.e., active or configured) component carriers, and the amount of power that may be required to transmit the uplink control information on more than one channel.

    Abstract: A method performed by a station (STA) for operating in a wireless local area network (WLAN) is provided. A method may include receiving a beacon frame including an indication of a target wake time (TWT) period and a type indication that indicates single-user (SU) uplink (UL) transmission or multi-user (MU) UL transmission for the TWT period. The method may include receiving a trigger frame triggering a start of the TWT period. The STA may be awake during the TWT period. The method may include transmitting at least one frame during the TWT period. The at least one frame may be a SU uplink transmission or MU uplink transmission in accordance with the type indication.
