摘要: Disclosed is an indoor unit having a dust storage container in which dust removed from an air filter is stored, and a dust collecting box into which the dust in the dust storage container is transferred by utilizing an effect of blown air. The dust storage container is provided with a full condition detection means for detecting a dust full condition of the dust collecting box. The full condition detection means includes an LED and a phototransistor which are opposed to each other with a storage portion interposed therebetween. After a dust transfer operation which transfers the dust from the dust storage container to the dust collecting box, an intensity of light of the LED that has passed through the storage portion is detected by the phototransistor. If the detected light intensity is equal to or less than a set value, a full condition of the dust collecting box is detected.

摘要: On a plate of birefringent crystal made of an LiNbO3 crystal or an LiTaO3 crystal, a conductive substance is adhered to the whole periphery of side surfaces of the plate that intersect an incident surface of a laser beam, thereby to form a wave plate. A polarizer is provided at the latter stage of the wave plate. A wavelength is monitored based on an output from the polarizer. With this arrangement, based on the use of the LiNbO3 crystal or the LiTaO3 crystal that can be manufactured by a large quantity at low cost, it is possible to obtain polarization characteristics and wavelength discrimination characteristics that are stable against environmental changes such as temperature and external stress, by suppressing the pyroelectric effect and the piezoelectric effect of these materials.

摘要: In a flow meter, a detective core (5) is fitted in a cylindrical chamber (3a) in a main body (2), and a fluid is introduced at a predetermined angle from inflow passageways (17) into the interior of this detective core (5), the fluid introduced into the detective core (5) being discharged at a predetermined angle to the interior of the main body (2) through outflow passageways (13). A force generated by a variation in momentum of the fluid is applied to the detective core (5), and this force is detected by a device for measuring load (6) and thereby momentarily determines a mass flow rate of the fluid. Thus, a variation in momentum is generated in the fluid by the inflow passageways (17) and outflow passageways (13), and the force produced by the momentum variation is applied to the detective core (5), the force applied to the detective core (5) being detected by the device for measuring load (6). Accordingly, the mass flow rate of a cavitation-generating fluid and a bubble-containing fluid can be measured accurately without being influence by variations in viscosity thereof resulting from variations in temperature.
