    摘要: A method for determining the location of underground cables and pipes is disclosed. In some embodiments, the method includes measuring a set of electromagnetic field magnitudes and phases at a plurality of positions while traversing a target line parallelly using 3D electromagnetic coil sensors, the 3D electromagnetic coil sensors being orthogonally oriented to the target line, modeling a set of expected complex electromagnetic field magnitudes of a single underground conductor at each of the positions to form a set of values corresponding to a set of individual models for the target line, determining which of the set of individuals models is a best model, determining confidence information at each of the positions based on a comparison between the measured set of complex electromagnetic magnitudes and phases and the best model, and determining parameters at each of positions related to the target line from the best model.

    摘要: The invention is directed to a system and method for controlling the flow of gas from a medical ventilator into a patient's lungs. The control system provides for a non-linear feedforward controller to correct for disturbances caused by back pressure at the outlet of the blower of the medical ventilator. For this purpose, a pressure transducer is provided to measure the back pressure. Additionally, the invention allows for a feedback controller to correct for the differences between the rate of the actual gas flow and the targeted gas flow rate. For this purpose a flow rate transducer is provided. The control system may account for each of the gas flow rate error and the back pressure disturbance to provide for a quick and accurate adjustment to achieve the targeted gas flow rate.

The middle button of the simulated mouse is simulated by two fingers touching and sliding on the screen side by side or by one finger touching and sliding together with another touching and staying on the screen. And some of the side-keys can be reused as the left, right and middle simulated mouse buttons. A device with a touch pen can also simulate a mouse by cooperating with side keys and/or fingers.

The computing device receives an indication of a gesture input on a portion of the presence-sensitive surface associated with the virtual keyboard. In addition, the computing device defines anchor points for virtual keys of the virtual keyboard. The computing device then determines distance scores for the anchor points words based on distances on the presence-sensitive surface between the input points and the anchor points. The computing device identifies a word that corresponds to the gesture input based on the distance scores for the anchor points.
