摘要: A system for assembling cards in trays includes a pack stacker that stacks cards, a pack separator, a tray for receiving cards, and a processor. The processor is programmed to determine a number of cards in the tray, operate the pack stacker to assemble a plurality of cards into a stack, determine whether the plurality of cards can be accommodated in the tray together with the number of cards and, if so, transfer the stack to the tray. The processor is also programmed to operate the pack separator to separate the stack of cards into a sub-stack if the processor determines that the plurality of cards cannot be accommodated in the tray together with the number of cards wherein the sub-stack has less than the plurality of cards and transfer the sub-stack to the tray.

摘要: Erectable displays and methods of making such erectable displays are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a display apparatus including a shroud having a first sheet and a second sheet disposed in opposition to one another, the first sheet and the second sheet being connected to one another at a first end by a first joint and at a second end by a second joint. The display apparatus includes at least one support member disposed between the first and second sheets and between the first and second joints, the support member(s) being configured to outwardly bias the first and second sheets to cause the shroud to assume a curvilinear cross-sectional shape along at least a portion of a longitudinal axis of the shroud.

摘要: A display apparatus includes a shroud having a first substrate and a second substrate disposed in opposition to one another, the first substrate and the second substrate being connected to one another at a first side by a first joint and at a second side by a second joint. A free-floating stop member is disposed in a volume of the shroud between the first and second substrates and between the first and second joints, the free-floating stop member including a channel extending along the free-floating stop member for at least a portion of a length of the free-floating stop member. An elastic member couples the first joint to the second joint to exert a tensile force therebetween and passes through the channel of the free-floating stop member. The free-floating stop member is translatable vertically within the shroud between a first position and a second position and the free-floating stop member is dimensioned to stop inward travel of the first joint and the second joint responsive to the tensile force exerted by the elastic member.

摘要: Methods and apparatus of producing collectible cards are disclosed. An example method includes producing a first stack of cards including a first card type and a second card type from a single substrate sheet, separating the first stack of cards into a first sub-stack and a second sub-stack. The first sub-stack includes the first card type and the second sub-stack includes the second card type. The example method includes comparing a first top card of the first sub-stack to a first reference card and, based on the first top card being substantially similar to the first reference card, automatically transferring the first sub-stack to a first tray designated to receive the first card type.

摘要: A display apparatus includes a shroud having first and second sheet portions disposed in opposition to one another, the first and second sheet portions being connected to one another at a first side by a first joint and at a second side by a second joint. A support member is disposed between the first and second sheet portions and between the first and second joints, the support member being affixed to the first and second sheet portions and movably disposed relative to the first and second joints, the support member being positionable between a closed position and an open position, the open position outwardly biasing the support member against the first and second sheet portions to cause the shroud to assume a curvilinear cross-sectional shape along a length of the shroud. Notches are formed in the first and second joints at a first position along the length of the shroud. One or more elastic members couple the support member the first and/or second joints and bias the support member into the open position and toward engagement with the notches.

摘要: Methods, apparatus, systems and machine readable medium for variable video production, distribution and presentation are disclosed. An example video player to play a variable video includes an input interface to request first relevance data from a first intended viewer of a first version of the variable video and to request second relevance data from a second intended viewer of a second version of the variable video. The example video player also includes an assembler to assemble a first sequence of two or more of a plurality of scenes charted in a video file based on the first relevance data and at least one vector tagged to the plurality of scenes based on content of the plurality of scenes and to assemble a second sequence of two or more of the plurality of scenes charted in the video file based on the second relevance data and at least one vector.

摘要: A system controls a package assembly line. The package assembly line has a piece feeder and a component feeder. The piece feeder is arranged to feed pieces to a transport of the package assembly line. The component feeder is arranged to feed components to the transport of the package assembly line so that the components and the pieces are combined into packages. The components have corresponding component identifiers thereon. The system includes a memory for storing a piece data file having piece identifiers corresponding to pieces fed by the piece feeder, a detector for detecting a component identifier from a component being fed by the component feeder toward the transport, a comparator for comparing the detected component identifier to a corresponding piece identifier, and a data list re-sequencer for re-sequencing the piece data file if the detected component identifier fails to match the corresponding piece identifier.
