    Abstract: An information processing device includes a communication unit and a controller. The communication unit performs data communication with another vehicle present in a periphery of a host vehicle. The controller controls the data communication performed by the communication unit. The controller identifies a designated moving body, which is the other vehicle for which a quality of communication with the host vehicle does not satisfy a predetermined standard. The controller controls directivity related to wireless communication performed by the communication unit based on a relative positional relationship between a first future position where the host vehicle will travel in the future and a second future position where the designated moving body will travel in the future.

    Abstract: A control method includes acquiring the operation stop request of the fuel cell system, acquiring a next vehicle operation start timing, and calculating a first energy cost and a second energy cost at a predetermined timing after acquiring the operation stop request and the next vehicle operation start timing. The first energy cost is an energy cost required from the predetermined timing to completion of warming up of the fuel cell when a warm-up control is executed using the heater in accordance with the next vehicle operation start timing after the stop control is executed. The second energy cost is an energy cost required when an operation of the fuel cell is continued so as to maintain a temperature of the fuel cell at a warm-up temperature from the predetermined timing to the next vehicle operation start timing. The control method includes continuing the operation of the fuel cell such that the temperature of the fuel cell is maintained at the warm-up temperature while the first energy cost is larger than the second energy cost after the operation stop request is acquired.

    Abstract: A control device is used in a vehicle including a perception system which uses sensors. The perception system includes a device for estimating a variable including a characteristic relating to objects detected in the surrounding area of the vehicle, the estimation device including an online learning module which uses a neural network to estimate the variable. The learning module includes: a forward-propagation module to propagate data from sensors, which data are applied as the input to the neural network, so as to provide a predicted output including an estimate of the variable; a fusion system to determine a fusion output by implementing a sensor fusion algorithm using the predicted values; a back-propagation module to update weights associated with the online neural network by determining a loss function representing the error between an improved predicted value of the fusion output and the predicted output by performing gradient descent back propagation.
