Abstract:
A mobile communication terminal having a function of displaying a communication state and a method thereof are disclosed. The method of displaying a communication state in a case of a multiparty call using a mobile communication terminal having a plurality of display units includes displaying information on one calling party on a first display unit, and displaying information on the other calling party on a second display unit. Here, information on one calling party and information on another calling party can be switched with each other and displayed on the different display units, and therefore voice communication is possible between one or more of the parties at the same time.
Abstract:
A method is provided for displaying a message in a mobile communication terminal. According to one example, the method includes the steps of receiving a first message, displaying the first message on a first display of the terminal, and displaying a message preparation window on a second display of the terminal simultaneously with the display of the first message. Since the terminal user can prepare a response text message to a received text message while viewing the received text message, the preparation of the response text message can be more conveniently achieved.
Abstract:
A mobile communication terminal with a camera and a dual-display unit, whereby, in an image capturing mode, a first display unit displays an image of a subject received through a camera in real time and a second display unit displays a still image of the subject captured according to an image capture command signal received from a user, and in an image editing mode, when one of at least two or more images displayed on the first display unit is selected, the selected image is displayed on the second display unit, and at the same time, when a certain function icon provided to the first display nit is selected, a function allocated to the selected function icon is executed. An image of a camera preview and a captured image are displayed on each different display unit, so a user can capture a moment an image is to be captured and check the recently captured image by naked eyes, enhancing user convenience and providing fun to users.
Abstract:
A method for allocating/arranging keys on a touch-screen and a mobile terminal for the same are disclosed. The method for allocating at least one key on a touch-screen includes establishing a plurality of sensing zones on the touch-screen, wherein sizes of the plurality of sensing zones change in sequential order according to a key-arrangement direction, and allocating the at least one key to at least one of the plurality of sensing zones.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal includes: a main device having a display unit and performing a mobile communication function, and a sub-device having an input unit, communicating with the main device, and detachably coupled to the main device, wherein the input unit includes a transparent touch panel, and at least a portion of the transparent touch panel overlaps with the display unit in a state that the main device and the sub-device are coupled. The main device and the sub-device communicate with each other when they are coupled or separated to remotely control each other.
Abstract:
A mobile communication terminal including a controller configured to activate both a speakerphone function and an additional function on the terminal when a functional key corresponding to the additional function is selected during an existing call, and an input unit configured to input information related to the additional function during the existing call.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal and a method of controlling the operation of the same are provided. In the method, position information of a different bicycle user or bicycle riding course information is displayed. Riding information of the different bicycle user is displayed or the bicycle riding course information is changed according to weather or the like. The method provides a navigation screen for bicycle riding and supports prevention of bicycle theft and accident.
Abstract:
Provided are wafer scale lenses having a diffraction surface as well as a refractive surface, and an optical system having the same. The wafer scale lens includes a lens substrate, a first lens element formed on the object side of the lens substrate, having a positive refractive power, a second lens element formed on the image side of the lens substrate, having a diffraction surface, and a third lens element deposited on the diffraction surface of the second lens element, having a negative refractive power. The invention allows miniaturized optical system and efficient calibration of angle of view, reducing the angle of light incident onto the diffractive surface, thereby increasing diffraction efficiency and eliminating high order diffraction light to improve picture quality.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal having a slidable and rotatable cover. In one example embodiment, a mobile terminal includes a main body and a cover coupled to the main body. The cover is configured to slide along a longitudinal axis of the main body and to rotate with respect to the main body. A touch input device is also formed on the main body. The touch input device is exposed after the cover is slid and then rotated.
Abstract:
The invention is directed to a method of displaying multimedia data and providing multitasking features and a mobile communications terminal capable of implementing the same; and cradle for the mobile communications terminal. A mobile communications terminal includes a transceiver, a memory, a first display unit, a second display unit, a processor, a sensor to detect a rotational movement of a body, and a cradle for displaying multimedia contents is provided. The display unit can display the multimedia data in a fixed viewing angle regardless of which direction a user rotates the terminal. A method comprises the steps of displaying multimedia data playback on at least one of a first and a second display screens, displaying information related to the multimedia data, on at least a portion of the at least one of the display screens, providing multimedia control functions and/or indications to the user in a minimally intrusive manner, and displaying a multimedia playback control menu on the at least one of the two display screens.
