Abstract:
A liquid crystal display and a display system including the same are provided in one or more embodiments. For example, a liquid crystal display may include for an embodiment a bi-directional channel, a memory in which driving signal generation data including information required to generate a plurality of driving signals and EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) are stored, and a timing controller which receives the driving signal generation data and the EDID from the memory and transmits the EDID to the outside through the bi-directional channel. The driving signal generation data and the EDID may be transmitted from the memory to the timing controller via a single interface. A first time period during which the driving signal generation data is transmitted may not overlap with a second time period during which the EDID is transmitted.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for measuring receive sensitivity of a base station in order to test a plurality of FAs with only one test terminal. The method includes the steps of: performing synchronization of a primary FA and detecting a channel list at the test terminal; and sensing at least one FA from the base station according to the channel list at a controller, and controlling the test terminal to perform synchronization of each FA from a first FA of a first sector to the last FA of the last sector, one by one. Therefore, it has an advantage in that the receive sensitivity of all FAs (frequency allocations) can be measured by using only one test terminal, while testing receive sensitivity of a base station providing multiple FAs.

Provided are a circuit board that stores Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) information provided externally and a liquid crystal display (LCD) comprising the same. The liquid crystal display comprises a circuit board and a liquid crystal panel. The circuit board comprises a first connector which receives an externally provided video signal, a second connector which receives an externally provided EDID signal, a memory coupled to the second connector that receives and stores the EDID signal, and a timing controller which receives the video signal from the first connector and generates a video data voltage by using the EDID signal. The liquid crystal panel responds to the video data voltage and displays a video image.
Abstract:
A timing controller, a display apparatus having the timing controller and a method for driving the display apparatus, the timing controller includes a control part, an inner clock and a control signal. The control part detects whether an external clock signal and image data received from an external image apparatus are abnormal. The inner clock generating part includes a reference voltage generating circuit outputting a reference voltage independent of temperature, and generates an inner clock signal using the reference voltage. The control signal generating part generates a first driving control signal using the external clock signal and generates a second driving control signal using the inner clock signal. Accordingly, the inner clock signal that is stable with respect to the surrounding temperature and voltage variation is generated when the external clock signal and the image data are abnormal, and thus driving reliability may be enhanced.
