Abstract:
This disclosure is directed toward techniques for classifying a tachycardia as supraventricular tachycardia or ventricular tachycardia. A method comprises detecting a tachycardia based on at least one value of a cardiac interval, delivering vagal stimulation in response to the detection of the tachycardia, sensing a physiological parameter other than the cardiac interval during or subsequent to delivering the vagal stimulation, and classifying the tachycardia as supraventricular or ventricular based on the sensed physiological parameter. In some examples, the method includes sensing a response of a physiological parameter other than cardiac rate to the vagal stimulation, such as pressure or a morphological characteristic of the cardiac electrical waveform. The method may include providing an indication to a user based on the classification of supraventricular tachycardia, or delivery of appropriate electrical therapy based on the classification of ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation.
Abstract:
A method for automatically verifying one or more features of file-based media content (108) is disclosed. This file-based media content includes one or more media content files. The method includes customizing (204) a test plan on the basis of the one or more features. Customizing the test plan includes creating, modifying or utilizing at least one media content check of one or more media content checks. A media content check verifies at least one feature of the one or more features of the file-based media content. Further, the method includes verifying (206) the one or more features, based on the customized test plan. The method also includes documenting (208) the results obtained from the verification of the one or more features.
Abstract:
A method and system for calculating an interlace artifact in image data are disclosed. A motion picture of the image data comprises a series of frames, captured at a predefined interval of time. During processing of the motion picture, the frames are divided into fields, each field comprising one or more pixels. A difference between the pixels of the fields is calculated. Thereafter, edges of the pixels are calculated in the fields. The method and system then identify the focused area in the fields. To calculate the interlace artifact in the motion picture, the displacement of the focused area is calculated by using motion vectors. The artifacts are calculated as a ratio of a number of pixels based on motion vector calculation.
Abstract:
The invention provides a purchase sequence browser (PuSB), i.e. a graphical user interface (GUI) that facilitates insight discovery and exploration of product affinities across time, generated by a purchase sequence analysis of a retailer's transaction data. A purchase sequence browser allows the user to browse the most significant product phrases discovered by an exhaustive search of the product affinities across time; explore the retail grammar to create both forward and backward phrase trees or alternate purchase paths starting from, or ending in, a product; generate consistent purchase sequences given some constraints on the products and their order; and profile the value of a product across time with regard to other products fixed in time.
Abstract:
A recursive on-line wavelet data compression technique which may be used in, for example, a process control network, compresses a stream of data points on-line or in real-time (e.g., as the data arrives or is generated) without requiring the storage of a large amount of uncompressed data. The data compression system includes a data receiver that receives the data points in a sequential manner and a compression tree computation device that determines approximation coefficients and detail coefficients of a multi-layer wavelet compression tree from the received data points. The compression tree computation device determines all of the coefficients of the higher level layers of the compression tree that can be determined after the data receiver receives each of the data points to thereby perform on-line or real-time data compression. A memory stores the determined approximation coefficients of the compression tree, a comparator compares the determined detail coefficient magnitudes or other error measurements to one or more thresholds to determine if construction of the compression tree should be halted and a compression data generator selects a subset of the determined coefficients to create a set of compressed data corresponding to the received data points when the comparator determines that construction of the compression tree should be halted.
Abstract:
A surface-mounted integrated circuit package containing a semiconductor die has at least two conductive plates on its lower surface for contacting power and ground areas of a printed circuit board (PCB). The conductive plates are electrically connected to metal studs encapsulated within the package and which link the plates to the power and ground grids of the semiconductor die. Power and ground can thus be provided to the package with conductive patterns on the PCB that match with the plates. The resistance of the plates is low and hence the IR drop across the die is low. By supplying power directly to the package via the plates, the peripheral package pins that would otherwise have been allocated for power (and ground) are now freed up for signal assignment.
Abstract:
A semiconductor device uses insulated bond wires to connect peripheral power supply and ground bond pads on the periphery of the device to array power supply and ground bond pads located on an interior region of a integrated circuit die of the device. Power supply and ground voltages are conveyed from array bond pads using vertical vias down to one or more corresponding inner power distribution layers. The bond wire connections form rows and columns of hops constituting a mesh power grid that reduces the IR drop of the semiconductor device.
Abstract:
Given a set of documents relevant to a litigation hold and a seed set of keywords, a second set of keywords can be generated and suggested to a user. Each document in a training set of documents is given an indication of relevance. Based on the indication of relevance, a set of further keywords relevant to the litigation is extracted from the documents and suggested to a user. The suggested set of keywords may or may not include keywords in the seed set. Additionally, the suggested set of keywords may be related to the seed set of keywords.
Abstract:
A computer-readable medium, computer-implemented method, and financial close management system are provided that manage a schedule. A schedule is a core object of the financial close management system, and is an expression of a template. Managing a schedule can include creating a new schedule, modifying an existing schedule, deleting an existing schedule, duplicating an existing schedule, validating an existing schedule, creating a template from an existing schedule, setting a status of an existing schedule, and importing and exporting an existing schedule. In addition, managing a schedule can include defining task type parameters that can be set during scheduling and setting task parameters of a schedule at a schedule level rather than a task level.
Abstract:
A computer-readable medium, computer-implemented method, and system are provided for filtering of custom attributes. A custom attribute is an attribute of an object defined by a user. Once a user has defined one or more custom attributes, the user can filter a set of objects based on a criteria that includes a value for one or more custom attributes. The filtering can be dynamic so that when the set of objects is modified (such as creating a new object, deleting an existing object, or modifying an existing object), the filter is automatically updated. Furthermore, a filtering criteria can be based on the set of objects present in the system, so that any filter that is defined returns at least one object. In addition, once a filter is applied, any additional filter applied to the original filter can have a filtering criteria based on the subset of objects returned by the original filter.
