Abstract: A panel assembly for a building includes a panel configured to extend between a first surface and a second surface. The panel is movable along a predetermined path relative to the first surface and the second surface. A first pin and a second pin are coupled to the panel. A first bottom face plate is positioned on a first side and defines a first slot. A second bottom face plate is positioned on a second side and defines a second slot. A first top face plate is positioned on the first side and defines a third slot. A second top face plate is positioned on the second side and defines a fourth slot. The first pin is movable in the first slot and the second slot, and the second pin is movable in the third slot and the fourth slot for guiding movement of the panel along the predetermined path.

Abstract: A coating composition comprises a functionalized epoxy resin and a fluoroalkyl-modified particle, such as activated carbon or silica. The functionalized epoxy resin is a ternary polymer composition comprising one or more epoxy resin moieties linked to a polyethylene backbone through an oxygen atom, fluoroalkyl(poly)propionyl groups being grafted to the polyethylene backbone. The coating compositions have superhydrophobic properties useful for self-cleaning surfaces and bubble release from sensors.

Abstract: A device for measuring pH levels and contaminant concentration includes an electrode assembly that is electrically coupled to a control unit. The electrode assembly includes a first contact electrically coupled to a reference electrode, a second contact electrically coupled to a working electrode, and a third contact electrically coupled to a counter electrode. The working electrode may be modified to include a cysteine functionalized graphene oxide with polypyrrole nanocomposite. In operation, the control unit may apply a complex signal to the working electrode via the second contact in order to adhere and subsequently strip contaminant ions from the fluid sample to the working electrode. During this process, a current may be measured across the working electrode and the counter electrode to measure contaminant ion concentration. The pH of the fluid sample may also be determined by a current measured across the reference electrode and the counter electrode. In some examples, the pH may be used to calibrate the measured levels of the contaminant ions.

Abstract: A medical tubing organizer includes a base defining a longitudinal direction, a lateral direction being defined as substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, and a vertical direction being defined as substantially orthogonal to the longitudinal and lateral directions. A tube retainer is positioned on a top of the base and configured to receive a medical tube that extends along the lateral direction. A connector is positioned on the base for selectively coupling the medical tubing organizer to a structure.
