Abstract:
A workflow system for performing a process according to information input to an electronic form from an input screen displaying the electronic form, and inputting handwritten information of a corresponding paper form to the electronic form is disclosed. Based on screen formation data used for forming the input screen, paper layout information defining the paper form corresponding to the input screen is generated. The paper form is printed based on the paper layout information together with a form ID identifying the electronic form. An image of the printed paper form to which handwritten information is added is input. The handwritten information and the form ID are extracted from the image of the paper form input, converted to electronic handwritten information, and input to the electronic form corresponding to the extracted form ID.
Abstract:
A communications system includes communications terminals connected to a management server. The management server includes a terminal manager managing data center identification information-acquiring identification information items for acquiring identification information items of data centers available to a predetermined one of the communications terminals in association with the identification information items of the data centers, a service manager managing services available to the predetermined communications terminal in association with the identification information items of the data centers, and an access authorization verification processor managing access to the services, based on the identification information items of the data centers available to the predetermined communications terminal in association with the data center identification information-acquiring identification information items, and the identification information items of the data centers in association with the services available to the predetermined communications terminal when an inquiry about the services available is received from the predetermined communications terminal.
Abstract:
In response to a request for deleting a specific management terminal from being under management of a specific administrator, a transmission management system not only deletes terminal identification information of the specific management terminal, from terminal identification information of management terminals being managed by the specific administrator, but also deletes the terminal identification information of the specific management terminal from candidate counterpart terminal identification information for the other management terminals being managed by the specific administrator.
Abstract:
An apparatus to manage transmission of log data generated by a transmission terminal from the transmission terminal to a log management device obtains detection result data indicating whether a predetermined event is detected at the log management device, determines whether the log data is to be transmitted from the transmission terminal to the log management device based on the detection result data to generate a determination result, and transmits the transmission approval data having the determination result to the transmission terminal to cause the transmission terminal to process the log data according to the determination result of the transmission approval data.
Abstract:
A transmission system includes: a transmission management system and a fee management system. The transmission management system manages participation time information using a given transmission terminal. The fee management system manages participation fee information. The transmission management system includes a transmission unit that transmits the participation time information to the fee management system. The fee management system includes: a user management unit that manages user identification information and terminal identification information in a manner linked; a reception unit that receives the participation time information transmitted from the transmission management system; a participation time calculation unit that calculates a total participation time of conversation; a participation fee calculation unit that calculates a participation fee; and a participation fee summing unit that refers to the user management unit, sums up participation fees of each transmission terminal, and calculates a total participation fee for each user.
Abstract:
In a copying operation, an MFP reads a code image printed on the paper, acquires a paper ID from the code image, acquires paper information associated with the paper ID, specifies an electronic document as a print source, and acquires the specified electronic document. The MFP prints a paper ID on the paper with the code image and the acquired electronic document, and stores paper information including a paper ID of a copy source in association with the paper ID. When a first MFP leaves an image processing system, respective information concerning electronic document acquisition managed by the first MFP is transferred to a second MFP.
Abstract:
In printing an electronic document on a paper, an MFP prints a code image created by encoding a paper ID including a local ID issued to the paper and stores paper information with the paper ID. The MFP determines a type of data format, creates a paper ID in the data format, and prints a code image created by encoding the paper ID. In copying a printed paper, the MFP decodes the code image printed on the paper to acquire the paper ID and retrieves paper information associated with the paper ID according to the data format. The MFP specifies the electronic document as a print source from retrieved paper information and performs printing using the electronic document.
Abstract:
A pen includes a first speaker that outputs a first signal and a second speaker that outputs a second signal. The first and second speakers are located away from a tip of the pen at respectively different locations. The second signal is delayed with respect to the first signal by a time shorter than a cycle of the first signal. An interpolation time is set between the times of generation of the first and second signals. Interpolated positions of the first and second speakers at the interpolation time are estimated, and position of the tip of the pen is calculated from the interpolated positions of the first and second speakers.
