Abstract:
Downloadable pluggable services and methods of distributing the same are described. The downloadable pluggable services may correspond to communication services that can be downloaded to upgrade a communication system. The downloadable pluggable services may include a number of component parts that can be distributed among various servers in the communication system being upgraded along with instructions that enable the component parts to instruct each server in the communication system to operate in a coordinated fashion so as to provide the downloaded service.
Abstract:
A computational system including first and second clusters of servers, the first cluster corresponding to a first set of cluster attributes and the second cluster to a second set of cluster attributes, the first set of cluster attributes defining a common set of attributes for each member server of the first cluster and the second set of cluster attributes defining a common set of attributes for each member server of the second cluster, wherein the first and second sets of cluster attributes are different.
Abstract:
Mechanisms for sharing a Back-to-Back User Agent (B2BUA) instance between a plurality of services are provided. By sharing a single B2BUA instance, the need for additional Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)-related container processes and objects is obviated. In particular, a Micro-Sequencer Application Router Service (MSARS) is provided with the ability to deploy and undeploy a plurality of Micro-Sequenced Services (MSS) as well as provide a definition of a Micro-service B2BUAhelper class which creates linked SIP Sessions.

Abstract:
Methods, devices, and systems are provided such that enterprise network administrators may create and display a dial plan management arrangement using enterprise canonical format and number normalization and friendly display tables. A solution is provided for creating and managing call routing simply and graphically using enterprise canonical format rather than through a legacy routing scheme using of a series of tables with no graphic depiction and multiple formats. By using a single format with a graphical representation when administering dial planning, implementation and management are significantly simpler and more efficient.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for providing an elegant and efficient multi-protocol eventing layer are disclosed. The multi-protocol eventing layer includes a converged container capable of handling multiple types of protocols to manage events while using an open source database. Accordingly, the multi-protocol eventing layer efficiently provides real-time or near real-time eventing to a plurality of devices for scalability and performance enhancement.

Abstract:
Systems and methods are described for creating and managing Global Session Identifiers (GSIDs) for communication sessions. GSIDs provide a way to globally identify communication sessions including those communication sessions that have experienced one or more topology changes. The GSID may be considered a header itself or a value within a header and information contained within a GSID can be used to trace backwards through time to find the session segments that led up to (or exist concurrently to) a currently signaled session.
