摘要： The present invention is a system for handling liquid and a method for the same. The system has a container capable of holding a liquid. An electronic storage device is coupled with the container for electronically storing information relating to the liquid stored in the container. The system also has an antenna, for storing information to and reading information from the electronic storage device. Finally, the system has a microprocessor-based controller, coupled with the antenna, for controlling processing of the liquid based on information read from the electronic storage device by the antenna.

The elastic film is attached to a nonwoven layer. The elasticized nonwoven layer is then split into two sections. A portion of the elasticized nonwoven layer is then ultrasonically cut to the desired configuration. The elastic film does not traverse the crotch region. Also provided are methods for producing such disposable undergarments.

摘要： A tumescent fluid infusion apparatus for use in treatment of a vascular disease includes a needle attached to a valve device. The valve device is designed to receive tumescent fluid from a fluid source. When the valve device is in an open position, it administers the tumescent fluid from the fluid source through the needle channel to allow a single hand of a user to control the needle insertion and the infusion of the tumescent fluid to free the other hand for operating a probe such as an ultrasound probe to eliminate the requirement of a second operator. The infusion apparatus also allows a user to control the amount of infused fluid without requiring syringe changes.

摘要： An optical fiber cable having a locating element and extending from a distribution enclosure to a premise is provided. The optic fiber cable includes a core having at least one optical fiber transmission medium disposed within a tubular member that has a jacket system disposed thereabout. A longitudinally extending detectable element is provided that does not function as a communications cable and that is detachably connected to said tubular member by the jacket system which is also disposed about the detectable element so as to define a web between the tubular member and the detectable element. The detectable element terminates before at least one of the distribution enclosure or the premise. The web defines a notch between the tubular member and the detectable element which serves as a shear plane to facilitate the propagation of a tear between the tubular member and the detectable element.
