摘要: A quantitative gait modification and/or analysis system employs instrumented footwear, legwear, and an independent processing module. The instrumented footwear and/or legwear can have sensors that permit the extraction of gait kinematics in real time and provide feedback from it. Embodiments employing calibration-based estimation of kinematic gait parameters are described. An artificial neural network identifies gait stance phases in real-time and selective feedback is provided that targets certain portions of a subject's gait.

摘要: A vibration module for applying vibrational tractions to a wearer's skin is presented. Use of the vibration module in headphones is illustrated for providing tactile sensations of low frequency for music, for massage, and for electrical recording and stimulation of the wearer. Damped, planar, electromagnetically-actuated vibration modules of the moving magnet type are presented in theory and reduced to practice, and shown to provide a substantially uniform frequency response over the range 40-200 Hz with a minimum of unwanted audio.

摘要: A massager includes a shell component provided with a contact side plate; a semiconductor refrigeration sheet, wherein the semiconductor refrigeration sheet is provided in the shell component, and the first working surface of the semiconductor refrigeration sheet is attached to the contact side plate; at least two electrode plates, wherein all of the electrode plates are provided on the contact side plate, and the polarities of the at least two electrode plates are opposite. The massager and the control method thereof according to the present disclosure use the semiconductor refrigeration sheet to cool or heat, so that the massager can realize various massage functions of cold compress, hot compress and alternating cold and hot massage, and achieve the effect of dissolving fat particles and discharging the fat particles out of the body. Moreover, an electrode plate is provided to release pulses, so that muscles can exercise passively.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for controlling vibrotactile output of adult toys. The method performed by the server system includes receiving a user input from a user device associated with a first user of a plurality of users. The user input includes an interaction information for controlling the vibrotactile output of a second adult toy associated with a second user of the plurality of users. The method includes generating a control pattern in response to the interaction information. The control pattern includes parameters related to timing and intensity of the vibrotactile output corresponding to the interaction information. Further the method includes transmitting the control pattern to a user device associated with the second user for operating the second adult toy to provide the vibrotactile output to the second user. The vibrotactile output of the control pattern proportionally reproduces the interaction information provided by the first user.

摘要: Rather than rely solely upon pupillary occlusion or tracking of eye movement to protect the fundus from accidental exposure to electromagnetic radiation, the present invention also utilizes an electromagnetic radiation pathway with a profile such that the energy density at the iris is greater than the energy density at the posterior portion of the eye. This disparity in energy density allows for efficacy at the anterior iris treatment site, without injury to the fundus.

摘要: A device for use by an individual varying in form, i.e. shape, during its use and allowing for the user to select multiple variations of form either discretely or in combination and for these dynamic variations to be controllable simultaneously and interchangeably while being transparent to the normal use of the device, including the ability to insert, withdraw, rotate, and actuate the variable features manually or remotely. According to embodiments of the invention localized and global variations of devices are implemented using fluidics and electromagnetic pumps/valves wherein a fluid is employed such that controlling the pressure of the fluid results in the movement of an element within the device or the expansion/contraction of an element within the device.

摘要: A multimodal wearable band which uses mechanical vibrations to stimulate sensory neurons in the wrist or ankle in order to reduce the severity of tremors, rigidity, involuntary muscle contractions, and bradykinesia caused by neurological movement disorders and to free users from freezing induced by movement disorders. The device uses sensors to provide output used by a processing unit to determine the optimal stimulation pattern for each user and to determine when stimulation is necessary, and then uses one or more vibration motors to accordingly stimulate the users neurological pathways to lessen the severity of a user's symptoms. The device can also be adapted to integrate with 3rd party devices.

摘要: A skin cleanser includes a surface, such as a silicone surface, with at least one textured portion for transmitting vibrational tapping to the skin. The skin cleanser includes at least one oscillating motor for generating the tapping motion to the skin. The textured portion includes touch-points or a wave that transmit the tapping motion to skin in contact with the textured portions. The touch-points may include thicker and thinner formations of the touch-points to provide firmer or softer vibrations to the skin. The touch-points are within about 0.5 to 2.5 mm in diameter. One configuration includes multiple oscillating motors configured to provide different vibration frequencies at around 50-300 Hertz and operable simultaneously.

摘要: The invention provides a sensing control method and apparatus, and a vibration massage apparatus. The method comprises: arranging a sensor which senses a trajectory of an external object, and controlling the change of output based on the direction of the trajectory. With the invention, a desirable control effect can be obtained based on the sensed direction of the trajectory of the external object without accurate positioning of the sensor. Not only the convenience of the sensing operation can be improved significantly, but also the control accuracy can be improved; meanwhile, the invention can be well applied to any device for control using several input control signals or variable input control signals for control, thus having a wide range of application and significantly optimizing user experience.
