Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for a UE to perform measurements of measurement resources transmitted by a network when the UE is configured with multiple concurrent measurement gap patterns (MGPs). The measurement resources may be carried on multiple carrier frequencies. The UE may receive measurement resource configuration parameters identifying time and frequency locations of the measurement resources transmitted on the multiple carrier frequencies. The UE may receive measurement gap configuration parameters for multiple concurrent MGPs specifying measurement intervals that may be used to perform the measurements. The UE may determine a linkage between the measurement resources on a carrier frequency and one of the concurrent MGPs so that the UE may independently measure the measurement resources received on the multiple carrier frequencies using their respectively linked MGPs. The linkage may be made through information elements in the measurement resource configuration parameters or the measurement gap configuration parameters containing the MGP.

Abstract: Aspects disclosed herein include devices, circuits, and methods for configuring reference signal (RS) measurements for a wireless device, comprising: determining, by a user equipment (UE), that an aperiodic channel state information reference signal (AP-CSI-RS) for Layer 1 reference signal received power (L1-RSRP) measurement occasion is overlapping with one or more Layer 3 (L3) RS measurement occasions; determining that the UE is not able to make measurements for both the AP-CSI-RS for L1-RSRP measurement occasion and the one or more overlapping L3 RS measurement occasions; and prioritizing, by the UE, making the measurement for the AP-CSI-RS for L1-RSRP. Other aspects include a wireless network configured to determine that a UE is not able to make both an AP-CSI-RS for L1-RSRP measurement and a L3 RS measurement in an overlapping measurement occasion and, in response, configuring either the AP-CSI-RS for L1-RSRP or the L3 RS measurement to avoid the overlapping measurement occasion.

A UE determines whether the state of the neighbor cell is known or unknown and whether the neighbor cell’s TCI state is known or unknown. The total delay time to perform the TCI state switch can impacted by this the known/unknown statuses. Other factors can also contribute to the total delay time. Abstract: Methods and apparatus provide for a wireless network to enable multiple-transmission reception point (multi-TRP) uplink (UL) time division multiplexed (TDMed) repetition transmission. The network may receive, from a user equipment (UE), beam measurements of downlink reference signals associated with a plurality of UL transmission beams from the UE to the multi-TRP. Based on criteria associated with the beam measurements received from the UE, the network enables the UE for the multi-TRP UL TDMed repetition transmission using the plurality of UL transmission beams. In addition, or in other scenarios, coordination is provided between the network and the UE to improve UL TDMed repetition transmissions when a UE switches between antenna panels.
