    摘要: An electronic device includes a pad which can detect an operating coordinate position by a touch operation, and a single push-switch provided under the pad. A touch operation to the pad at a given place allows a preliminary announcement of a function, and a further press-down of the pad being kept at the same position prompts the push-switch to work and determine the function preliminary announced. This structure allows excellent operability, and a single push-switch allows reducing the number of components of the operating section, so that the electronic device having these advantages is obtainable.

    摘要: A multidirectional input device includes ring-shaped resistance element layer 18, first conductive layer 22 and second conductive layer 23 shaping in arcs corresponding to resistance element layer 18, and knob 14 having ring-shaped protruded section 14D. Resistance element layer 18 has at least a pair of electrodes and is formed on flexible insulating substrate 16. Protruded section 14D brings resistance element layer 18 into contact with first conductive layer 22 or second conductive layer 23 when the knob is tilted. When a given voltage is applied to the electrodes and the knob is tilted, resistance element layer 18 comes in contact with first conductive layer 22 or second conductive layer 23, so that an output signal of a high resolution concerning a tilt angle can be obtained. The output signal is supplied to a microprocessor and calculated, then an angle or a direction is detected and recognized.

    摘要: A receiving device is provided with a DLL circuit of a reduced scale. An inverse spreading processing to ensure the synchronism with a received signal and a processing to inversely spread original data in the received signal are performed by a time-sharing operation using one inverse spreading circuit and one integrator. During a period in which synchronous data for detecting a slot duration included in the received signal is received, the synchronous data is alternately inversely spread by an early code and a late code and sample-hold circuits alternately sample and hold the integrated output. Further, based on the difference (error signal) between sample-hold signals, the early code, the late code and a reference code outputted from a code sequence generator are synchronized with the received signal. Then, the inverse spreading circuit and an integrator inversely spread the original data in the received signal based on the synchronized reference code and a detection output is generated by integrating the inverse spreading output.

    摘要: A communication device performs a radio communication in an ultra wideband with the use of the impulse radio system. The communication device includes a receiver. The receiver is equipped with antennas, a correlation circuit, and a CPU. The antennas receive send signals from a transmitter. The correlation circuit detects a synchronization pulse having a longer cycle than a highly redundant data pulse among received signals. The CPU performs a synchronization process based on the synchronization pulse. The CPU establishes a channel based on the synchronization pulse, and selectively changes the antennas according to the received signal. In the case where the receive signal has not been received for a given period of time after the synchronization is established correlation signals is stopped outputting to start a polling signal. The correlation signals are output to obtain correlation of the receive signals.
