Abstract:
Apparatus, methods, and computer program products are described for automatically determining which individual, from amongst a group of individuals, for example, a household, should be assigned which items in a transaction for the purpose of assessing budget for the group on a per-individual level. Transaction item-identifying data, such as an e-receipt is analyzed to identify items in a transaction, the transaction is determined to be associated an account that is tied to a group of individuals and the items in the transaction are determined to belong to or otherwise, for budgetary purposes, assignable to an individual belonging to the group.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to apparatus, methods, and computer program products for understanding past transactions based on purchase history. In some embodiments, an apparatus is configured to receive a request from a customer associated with a financial institution account; retrieve information associated with the request from a structured financial account database; and provide a recommendation to the customer based on the request and the information retrieved.
Abstract:
Embodiments related to tracking consumer consumption for purchased items are included in systems that receive e-receipt data, including stack keeping unit (SKU) level data from a customer and compare the e-receipt data with transaction data. The systems identify transactions associated with one or more customer goals based on the SKU level data and calculate a first quantity of consumption for each of the identified transactions.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods and computer program products for providing offers based on electronic receipt data. An exemplary apparatus is configured to identify purchase transaction data associated with identified electronic communications between a merchant and a customer regarding a transaction, where the purchase transaction data includes product level data from a transaction; receive the identified purchase transaction data, wherein the purchase transaction data is received in an unstructured format; convert the purchase transaction data from the unstructured format to a structured format; associate the structured purchase transaction data with the customer's online banking application; identify an offer associated with one or more products purchased by the customer; and provide the customer the offer based at least partially on the customers purchase transaction data.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to apparatus, methods, and computer program products for analyzing e-receipt data for loyalty card usage. The apparatus, methods, and computer program products comprise: a memory; a processor; and a module stored in memory, executable by a processor, and configured to: receive information associated with a purchase, wherein the information includes a payment type; analyze the payment type, wherein analyzing the payment type comprises determining if the payment type is associated with a loyalty card; and transmit, in response to determining the payment type is associated with a loyalty card, an offer to a second apparatus.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods and computer program products for providing product evaluation. An exemplary apparatus is configured to identify purchase transaction data associated with identified electronic communications between a merchant and a customer, the purchase transaction data includes product level data from a transaction, receive the identified purchase transaction data, the purchase transaction data is received in an unstructured format, convert the purchase transaction data from the unstructured format to a structured format, associate the structured purchase transaction data with the customer's online banking application, aggregate purchase transaction data related to one or more products purchased by the customer, determine one or more products are purchased on a recurring basis, and provide the customer with one or more options based at least partially on determining the one or more products are purchased on a recurring basis.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to apparatus, methods, and computer program products for using transaction history to incentivize the use of a financial institution bank card. In some embodiments, an apparatus is configured to receive an information associated with a transaction history from a structured database associated with a customer's financial institution account, wherein the information is a recurring periodic payment; identify a first payment type associated with the information received, wherein the first payment type is not associated with the financial institution; and provide an incentive to the customer to use a second payment type instead of the first payment type, wherein the second payment type is associated with the financial institution.
Abstract:
Embodiments for determining insurance valuations are included in systems that receive e-receipt data, including stock keeping unit (SKU) level data from a customer and compare the e-receipt data with transaction data. The systems match the e-receipt data to one or more transactions based on the comparison, identify at least one insurance related transaction from the one or more transactions based on the SKU level data, calculate the value of an insurance claim based on the at least one insurance related transaction.
Abstract:
In certain embodiments, an apparatus includes a memory and a processor. The processor is operable to present, in a first region of a display, information associated with a first service based at least in part upon the user. The processor is further operable to present information associated with a second, third and fourth service. Additionally, the processor may receive an update to the information associated with the first service and present, in the first region of the display, the update to the information associated with the first service. Finally, the processor is operable to detect a first touch on the first region of the display indicating a selection of the first service and present details associated with the first service in response to detecting the first touch.
Abstract:
Various examples are disclosed of how to leverage technology in a vehicle to provide various services in a convenient manner. For example, the pairing of the portable device with the on-board computer of the vehicle may be utilized as a level of authorization to provide certain services in a more automated and/or convenient way to the vehicle driver or other occupant of the vehicle, such as by authenticating wireless transactions with entities external to the vehicle using device pairing technology, and by modifying vehicle navigation routes to include suggested nearby points of interest that may be determined to be of particular value to a vehicle occupant.
