摘要: A display includes an effective display area and a frame area; an image overlap display area is disposed at a position in the effective display area, close to the frame area, and includes first display positions related to an image to be displayed in the effective display area and second display positions related to an image to be displayed in the frame area; the first and second display positions are distributed in an alternate form; a polarization splitting prism is disposed on a light-emitting surface of the display and at a position at least corresponding to the frame area and the image overlap display area; and a convergent prism configured to converge light from the second display positions in the image overlap display area to the frame area is disposed on a light-emitting surface of the polarization splitting prism. Also a tiled display is disclosed.

摘要: The embodiment of the invention provides a method and an apparatus for calibrating a liquid crystal display device. The liquid crystal display device comprises a pixel array, each pixel of the pixel array comprises electrodes in inclined arrangement, wherein an inclined orientation of the electrodes in pixels of odd rows is different with an inclined orientation of the electrodes in pixels of even rows; the method comprises: measuring brightness of the pixels of odd rows in a plurality of gray scales and brightness of the pixels of even rows in the plurality of gray scales respectively in a predetermined direction; and adjusting data line voltages of the pixels of odd rows and/or data line voltages of the pixels of even rows, such that in the predetermined direction, in each one of the plurality of gray scales, brightness of the pixels of odd rows is equal to brightness of the pixels of even rows.

The pixel array includes a two-dimensional array that is formed by arranging a plurality of color sub-pixels and a plurality of white sub-pixels in the row direction and in the column direction, the color sub-pixels include color sub-pixels in three different colors. For color sub-pixels in each color in each row, color sub-pixels with the same color in the same row are arranged so that, the odd-numbered column sub-pixel and the even-numbered column sub-pixel alternate one by one, or they are disposed by way of groups each including two odd-numbered column sub-pixels alternating with even-numbered column sub-pixels or by way of groups each including two even-numbered column sub-pixels alternating with odd-numbered column sub-pixels.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a peep preventing device. The peep preventing device includes first electrodes and a transparent insulating body on a transparent substrate. The insulating body has recesses, the first electrodes are located in the recesses, respectively, and an area of a section, taken along a plane parallel to the transparent substrate, of each recess gradually reduces in a direction away from the transparent substrate. The peep preventing device further includes transparent second electrodes each of which includes a second electrode sidewall portion covering a sidewall of one of the recesses. Closed spaces are defined between the insulating body and the second electrodes and the transparent substrate, and electrophoretic liquids are contained in the closed spaces, respectively, and contain reflective charged particles adapted to adhere to the second electrodes when a first electric field is applied between the first electrodes and the second electrodes.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a shift register unit and driving method thereof, a gate driving circuit and a display device. The shift register unit comprises: an input module for controlling a level of a first node based on a scan pulse, an output module for controlling a scan pulse output based on the level of the first node, a reset module for resetting the first node and the scan pulse output, and a control module for generating a reset trigger signal, wherein the reset module further resets the first node based on the reset trigger signal. The shift register units can be cascaded to form a gate driving circuit to realize output of multiple scan pulses. By integrating such a gate driving circuit on the array substrate, area of the bezel region of the array substrate can be reduced, thereby facilitating bezel narrowing of a display device. At the same time, due to presence of the control module, the reset module is enabled to reset the first node more stably while normal output of the scan pulse is maintained.

摘要: The invention discloses an array substrate, a liquid crystal display panel and a display device, since the first shield electrode, which intents to shield instantaneous electromagnetic signals in a data signal line, and a pixel electrode are provided in the same layer, compared to the existing array substrate in which the shield electrode and a common electrode are provided in the same layer, since the pixel electrode is closer to the data signal line, through the first shield electrode, the light leakage phenomenon can be effectively prevented from occurring in the array substrate, and the color mixing phenomenon of the array substrate can be alleviated, and further the distance between the first shield electrode provided in the same layer as the pixel electrode and the data signal line can be decreased, and the width of the first shield electrode is decreased.
