A variety of methods for configuring the composite file structure are described in preferred embodiments, such that a method for effectively configuring the composite file structure regardless of a current condition state is given. Each presentation segment having a palette update flag which indicates whether to use the palette information defined in the style segment or to use new palette information when reproducing the each presentation segment.
