    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for supporting use of multiple bandwidth parts, some of which are in a dormant state from the perspective of a User Equipment device (UE) are described. In various embodiments a multi-cell grant is supported in which a UE can be, and sometimes is, granted resources corresponding of an active bandwidth part (BWP) corresponding to a cell which is active from the UE's perspective and a BWP of a dormant cell with the multi-cell grant being transmitted to the UE on the active BWP of the active cell. Various features relate to timing determination operations used to determine downlink and/or uplink timing to be used for bandwidth portions corresponding to a dormant cell. In some embodiments a UE PRACH signal transmission on a bandwidth part of a dormant cell can be triggered by a control signal sent on a bandwidth part of an active cell.

    Abstract: A network control device, e.g., a gNB, receives a message from a communications device, e.g. a UE, indicating that the communications device is experiencing an in-device coexistence (IDC) problem, e.g. in the 52.6 GHz-71 GHz frequency range with respect to NR-U and WiGig. The message is one of: i) an IDC assistance message indicating that the victim system is Wi-Gig or ii) an antenna panel switch message requesting that the network control device instruct the communications device to change the antenna panel that it uses for uplink NR signaling. The network control device generates and sends a response message to the communications device including: a selected new frequency to be used by the communications device for uplink NR signaling or a selected different antenna panel to be used by the communications device for uplink NR signaling. The communications device implements the change reducing or avoiding the IDC problem.

    Abstract: According to one configuration, a system includes user equipment in communication with a wireless base station. The user equipment receives resource allocation information facilitating communication of wireless communications in a network environment. The user equipment is operable to: produce a first configured grant communication to include: i) first information specifying attributes (such as a first selected identifier value) of the first configured grant communication, and ii) second information specifying attributes (such as a second selected identifier value) of a second (buffered) configured grant communication to be communicated from the user equipment to the wireless base station after communication of the first configured grant communication to the wireless base station. The user equipment communicates the first configured grant communication to the wireless base station and then follows up with communication of the second configured grant communication to the wireless base station.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus related to HARQ feedback, e.g. delayed HARQ ACK/NACK, and uplink control information (UCI) multiplexing, in unlicensed spectrum are described. A base station transmits an UCI request to a UE, including: a request for ACK/NACK feedback corresponding to a set of HARQ identified processes, a request for channel state information report, and/or a scheduling request. The UCI request includes information which is used, by the UE, in determining the time and air link resources on which to send the UCI. The HARQ processes are communicated in a first Channel Occupancy Time (COT), while the ACK/NACK feedback is communicated in a later COT.

In one embodiment, the apparatus and methods provide enhanced performance to 5G millimeter-wave user devices via expanded use of spatial multiplexing layers in various uplink (UL) operating modes, including transform precode and non-transform precode modes.     Abstract: Apparatus and methods for multi-cell broadcast access channel utilization in a wireless network. In one embodiment, the apparatus and methods provide random access channel (RACH) procedure for a 3GPP-compliant user device (e.g., an enhanced UE or UEe) which attempts to connect to multiple cells simultaneously. In one variant, the UEe employs a multi-step (e.g., 4-step) RACH procedure to connect to the multiple cells. This significantly increases the likelihood of RACH procedure success and UEe access. In another variant, a 2-step RACH process is utilized. Variants of the apparatus and methods utilizing unlicensed spectrum and LBT (listen-before-talk) protocols are also described.
