摘要: Methods, computer readable media, and wireless apparatuses are disclosed. The apparatuses including processing circuitry configured to: associate with a master station, decode a frame, where the frame comprises a first duration and a transmitter address and determine that the frame is an intra basic service set (Intra-BSS), an inter (Inter-BSS), or an unclassified frame, where the unclassified frame is the Intra-BSS frame or the Inter-BSS frame. The processing circuitry may be further configured to set an Intra-BSS network allocation vector (NAV) to the first duration if the first duration is longer than a current duration of the Intra-BSS NAV and the frame is determined to be the intra-BSS frame and set the second NAV to the first duration if the first duration is longer than a current duration of the second NAV and the frame is determined to be the inter-BSS frame or the unclassified frame.

An MLD device may set up one or more links with a station multi-link device (STA MLD), wherein the STA MLD comprises one or more logical entities defining separate station devices. The MLD device may transmit a data packet associated with a traffic identifier (TID) to the STA MLD. The MLD device may determine that the data packet was not received by the STA MLD. The MLD device may retransmit the data packet to the STA MLD. The MLD device may increment a retransmit counter every time the data packet is retransmitted. The MLD device may refrain from transmitting a second data packet until the data packet is dropped or successfully received by the STA MLD.

摘要: An extremely high-throughput (EHT) station (STA) is configured for transmission of a control response frame for rate selection. In response to a frame carried in an EHT PPDU soliciting a control response frame, the EHT STA may calculate a duration of a non-HT PPDU containing the control response frame sent at a primary rate. The EHT STA may also encode a high-efficient (HE) single-user (SU) PPDU (HE SU PPDU) for transmission to carry the solicited control response frame when a transmit time of the encoded HE SU PPDU is less than the calculated duration of the non-HT PPDU, or encode an EHT PPDU for transmission to carry the solicited control response frame when a transmit time of the encoded EHT PPDU is less than the calculated duration of the non-HT PPDU. A reduction in overhead may be achieved by using an HE SU PPDU or an EHT PPDU instead of a non-HT PPDU to carry a solicited control response frame.

摘要: Systems, methods, and devices related to an EHT multi-AP group are described. The coordinated APs of the EHT group are synchronized to the coordinator AP using a periodic or non-periodic frame. Each coordinated AP then synchronizes STAs associated with the coordinated AP. In response to an MPDU, either triggered by a trigger frame from the coordinator AP or initiated by the STA, an ACK frame or NDP response is sent by each AP receiving the MPDU. The response to the MPDU is dependent on whether frame aggregation is used, as well as whether the trigger frame triggers transmission of MPDUs from multiple STAs.

摘要: An access point (AP) station (STA) (AP STA) may be configured to operate as a multi-AP controller in a multi-AP network. A multi-AP group formation message is encoded for transmission to other APs in the multi-AP network. The multi-AP group formation message is encoded to notify the APs of the formation of an extremely-high throughput (EHT) multi-AP group, to designate whether an AP is a member of an EHT multi-AP group, and whether an AP can take the role of a coordinator AP or coordinated AP within the EHT multi-AP group. For multi-AP joint processing, the AP STA is further configured to encode an AP trigger frame for transmission to the APs in the multi-AP network. The AP trigger frame is to trigger physical layer (PHY) and medium-access control layer (MAC) parameter synchronization. The AP trigger frame is to trigger transmission of aggregated MAC protocol data units (A-MPDUs) by the APs that include MAC parameters and PHY parameters.

摘要: A non-AP STA of a multi-link device (STA MLD) may be configured to encode a multi-link (ML) probe request frame for transmission to an access point STA (AP) of an AP MLD comprising a plurality of affiliated APs. When the probe request frame is sent outside the context of active scanning, to discover an AP of the AP MLD the ML probe request frame may be encoded to have an Address 1 field set to a broadcast address and an Address 3 field set to a BSSID of the AP, or encoded to have the Address 1 field set to a basic service set identity (BSSID) of the AP's BS. The non-AP STA may refrain from transmitting the ML probe request frame to the AP of the AP MLD in a corresponding link when another non-AP STA of the AP MLD has already received a ML probe response that included complete information from any one of the APs of the AP MLD in any link.
